The crown has long been a fine brightly lit Huntly pub with stripped back decor and good banter,l. With the new owners opening up the lounge as Harry's bar and putting in a well received selection of regional beers to reflect the homely wooden interiors, reminiscent of Tony Sopranos shrink's office (in a very warm, welcoming and safe way). Huntly really has acquired a great addition to the drinking establishment scene. Coupled with the tremendous musical accompaniment playing over the speakers, we were treated to everything from AC/DC, maiden, the quo and host of classics that kept the mood high. To top it off was the landlords remix of Aerosmiths 'dude looks like a lady' slowed down in the manner of Douglas Gordon's acclaimed 24 Hour Psycho. We were enthralled to be challenged and embraced in such a manner. Cannot recommend 'Linda's' enough.
