Hubby and I on way to visit friends in Paisley via Lochwinnoch -stopped off at @CucinaMinucci for breakfast - before leaving went to counter to purchase 1 whole Stornoway Black Pudding and decide it would be nice to take 4 scones to our friends and 4 more to take home total bill for the 8 scones, 1 not very nice breakfast, 1 panini, 2 coffees and said black pudding bill for above was £46.95 bit steep but that's not what bothered me - I had to stand there humiliated and flabbergasted (with a queue behind me) and listen to him (the owner) telling me that next time I want to buy 8 scones I should give him a couple of days notice as he might run short for his customers - Well Mr Cucina Minucci I was a regular customer from March 13 when I lived nearby until 2016 and since then I have been coming to your cafe from Kilmarnock where I now live. Oh, am I mistaken is there a specific identity badge I should wear to identify if I am a customer or not ??? I thought I was a customer after all did I not come into your shop and buy something ... No Matter really I can tell you quite frankly that I AM NO LONGER A CUSTOMER and I am very sorry for the fact that some of your REAL CUSTOMERS probably overheard your rudeness. To be frank, I should have paid for the breakfast only and told him to .......keep his scones and black pudding, but I'm a much nicer person...

Read moreThis is an absolutely amazing spot in Lochwinnoch near the Semple trail, serving fresh soup and grilled sandwiches for lunch, plus an array of cakes and coffees. There’s even a little pantry to buy Italian foods and fresh produce. I had a salsiccia ciabatta and the ham lentil soup, which is making me hungry again even as I write this. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome, especially Jo! 🩵 I hope to visit again next time I’m in the area, everything was delicious and tasted really healthy and homemade....
