Oh dear. This is a case of it looks tasty in the window and the shop is well stocked and has happy friendly staff BUT.....the product isn't really all that good.I am sorry, but we bought cheese scones, they were burnt on the bottom.A loaf of bread that was so hard you could have knocked someone out with it and rolls that were so dry that they fell apart when you tried to cut them.Sorry but definitely not worth the money we paid.Wont be back

Spotted this place yesterday evening when I arrived and returned first thing this morning. Perfect croissants, quiche and sourdough baguette. Such a friendly little place, next time I will eat in. Nothing but praise for this bakery, a credit to the town and owner.

A fantastic small bakery in Lauder with the friendliest service. Everything we’ve tried so far has been delicious and a step above most bakeries. The plum frangipane we had recently was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had anywhere!

Savory pies and fresh brown bread are amazing!! Good prices.

Somehow I resisted buying any sweet items but the truffles looked great and were huge.

Going to try to go back while I am still in the area.

Went back. Had to get more brown bread! This time I also got a brownie and chocolate truffle;...
