Fran's Coffee House — Restaurant in Scotland

So disappointed as the food was lovely. We’ve been looking for a nice cafe in the area for a while and were keen to try this place. As soon as we entered we felt like a complete inconvenience to the staff. When asked if they’re still serving breakfast the girl serving huffed and snapped “I mean, we can do” and had an attitude the entire time she took our order. We were the only customers and we could barely hear each other talk because of the staff having loud and inappropriate conversations. The owner then came in so we thought it may get better but it actually got worse with them talking very loudly, swearing constantly and talking about people smoking joints etc. Again talking so loud that we couldn’t even have a conversation ourselves but due to the aggressive nature of the conversation didn’t even feel like we could speak up. The owner made a joke to us on her way out about her complaining but it was an awful atmosphere and not what you want when paying to have a meal out. We rushed our food and couldn’t...

Visited the shop last week, purchased two coffees, one latte and one flat white. There was virtually no difference in taste between the two. It was nice enough, but not a flat white the way it should be! Also bought a cake too, it had sat in the refrigerated unit for a day too long, it was solid, and started to taste a bit stale and the fresh cream had started to turn. Went for a cup of tea sat outside on a nice day the lady that served me was nice thought il come here again nice place then went to the toilet it was locked then approached another girl she asked have you got a table very rudely I said yes then asked for the key again she replied I've just asked her for it talking about her colleague again speaking rudely to me by that time I just walked out ! Not good won't be back shame because a nice wee place but I won't be spoken...
