Great food, great people, great place Make it a destination! Throughout recent turbulent times, Team GINN steadfastly provided not only fabulous food through the Friday Night Feasts, the Van That Can, The Bunker Cafe, the Window Wot Will, the new Farm Shop and now the pub itself. Regular live music to suit all tastes, the obligatory quiz and regular Sunday Trad Sessions . The people are just brilliant; nothing is too much trouble with a quip, a smile and so much enthusiasm and passion for what they do. Wendy's Wonders on the new menu form one of the best meals going, especially recommended are the Balmoral Chicken and the Fruit Crumbles...mmmm. Make the journey and experience all that Team GINN have to offer ... it's well worth it.

Easily one of the most welcoming dog friendly places that I have visited! After walking at Falkland, I googled local dog friendly pubs to grab some food and ended up here. They were playing live music and because we had the dogs, found us a quiet space in the back to eat! The customers and the staff were also EXTREMELY welcoming of the dogs. Felt very welcome and if I am in the area again, I will definitely go back!

This is a lovely pub after golf or just for a visit. Craig and his family offer you a warm welcome on arrival. The food and drinks are first class and the pub is nicely decorated with some rare golf memorabilia. Craig infamously assisted Phil Mickleson back in the day when he put the wrong fuel in his car. Some great stories.

Booked a table, arrived in time. Waited over 5 mins before the lady behind the bar even acknowledged we were there. A man came and we had to say to serve another lady first who had been waiting before us. Waited over ten minutes for a menu and she the same for her to make the order, she didn't ask if we wanted drinks either until this time. On taking the order we were told that 3 items were off the main course menu as they were coming into school holidays, weird given that steak pie is a staple in the pub menu area. The meal was good but the amount pitiful. Especially compared to other pub grub in the area. We weren't asked if we wanted any desert or anything infact no one came near us. On going up to pay the bill the same lady charged us the wrong table. I'd understand all of this if it was busy but there was only us and two other tables inside and out at the time. Very very disappointing. This was our first visit and probably our last. I messaged the pub to let them know my disappointment and they haven't had the courtesy to even contact me despite my leaving all my details. I wasn't looking for anything simply wanted to feedback as I know this industry struggling at the minute. There was no atmosphere again disappointing as this has the potential to be a great place. Sorry guys but I really was gutted.it was a...

Had a cheese and ham panini from the 'bunker cafe' attached to Golf Inn.

Unfortunately, the panini wasn't even hot in the middle. The bread was doughy & limp. The cheese hadn't melted properly, there were slices of cheese that still held their shape within the lukewarm dough.

For almost £5 it was very poor quality.

Edit in response to business reply:

It was purchased for, and brought to me so I was not able to return to speak to the staff about it. But even if fully hot throughout, it would not have been worth almost five pounds. I'm not interested in taking money back off the business, I make my review so people can hear about my experience. Shouldn't require a chat with staff to receive a good quality product in the...
