Greggs — Restaurant in Scotland

OMG what is wrong with so many of Gregg's restaurants? I picked a ham and cheese sandwich, when I opened it to eat, the bread was quite soggy, partially toasted, with lumps of other sandwiches burnt cheese stuck to it. I took it back to counter and asked if it could be re-toasted. The young man looked at me strangely! He then put the bread onto a very dirty tray, that's when I realised where the burnt cheese came from. He made no attempt to clean the tray before depositing my sandwich. I did eat it as I was hungry, however I cannot say that it was enjoyable. I have been to many Gregg's restaurants, and am appalled at the lack of hygiene. Tables are left with cups, paper bags, crumbs and spilled drinks. The floors are Never swept, and when you ask for the tables to be wiped, it is done reluctantly. Is there no pride in ownership of your job in these establishments. It is truly a sad reflection of today's standards in the fast food chain industry. I won't...

Absolutely outrageous with the customer service, the so called manager was horrible and disrespectful, never sent out our order correctly, phoned to see if we could collect or drop off the rest which was more than half of the order and the lassie that said she was the manager was horrible and rude, she started shouting over the phone saying it wasn’t her fault it was her staff yet still said she wasn’t sending out the rest of the order then hung up on us and never answered the phone since, absolutely...

Greggs is Greggs is Greggs …. Whether it’s a big one that has a large sit in facility, or a Greggs ‘Express’, the quality and selection is always there. Hats off to the head of logistics…. it doesn’t matter where you go the steak bakes, sausage rolls, buns and biscuits are always the same. And that is meant in a good way ….
