Greggs — Restaurant in Scotland

I always assume that this Greggs is just like a normal one you would find anywhere else but god, once I’m in there I remember really quickly why I hate it.

There’s always sausage rolls to fair. It’s like the only thing I think they’ll continually bake but there’s no help if you want any bake, pizza slices, sandwiches, most cakes or one of the best menu items, a scotch pie.

If it’s frustrating enough that there’s never anything in stock, the staff will just add to the excruciating experience. They do not seem to care at all and don’t even hide the fact that the mere act of doing their jobs is a hinderance. The amount of times my sausage rolls have been literally slapped off the counter has given me the knowledge of what that sounds like (it’s like a muffled ‘phump’).

This is a very strange wee Greggs, staff are quiet and seem untrained. If you're paying card or cash, they on the whole know just enough to get the purchase through. If, however, you go in with rewards or corporate codes/rewards for things, they shut down mentally and admit they don't know how to process these things. Today, showed the lassie a rewards code, fair play admiting to the customer "Yeah, I don't know how to process that, so....".
