KFC — Restaurant in Scotland

i visited this KFC(showcase Glasgow East) on 18/3/22 as my grandaughter fancied it for a change as she nearly always wants a McD's...i think weve had 2 kfc's in 15yrs so.....we ordered and spent a good while reminising while eating...we then left no problem. Now today 2/4/22 i recieved a letter from 'Smart parking' stating i owed them £60 and if i dont pay it goes up to £100, then it goes to court etc...apparently as i had stayed too long. Next day i drove there and yes it does have signs stating (max stay time is 60min) i stayed for around 1hr 15min, however there signs/carpark are poorly lit, and as i said i dont visit Kfc regulary so was not looking for thia and did not dream of being fined in such a place.....in a word its disgusting that this company KFC are fining people if they stay too long. Also i checked with Mc'ds next door and they do not have a time limit so it would seem KFC are greedy!!! and use this company to threaten/steal your money. i have no intention of paying this fine and neither should you as i have been informed by friend/police officer that its technically an invoice and if not from council, bin it!!!...so i will never be in another KFC and i will advise everyone i know of the same...do not eat here people they are thieves, 1☆ is the lowest i can give but would...

OK, so it was Saturday night 9pm approx. When my wife & I regrettably went into this particular KFC. The first thing that we noticed was just how very quiet it was inside this franchise, and the second thing was just how filthy it was. There were vast many tables not cleared & rubbish strewn across most of the floor. Sure, they had the usual online orders, BUT there appeared to be plenty of staff. What i presume was the, ahem, supervisor looked no older than about 18/19 years old but appeared very cocky, arrogant & was definitely more focused on trying to 'impress' the female staff & embarrassingly trying to look like an Alpha male to all the male staff. He was obviously totally out of his depth. The service was TERRIBLE & took more than 20 mins (bearing in mind that it's meant to be a so-called 'fast food' chain) to finally get served (a very easy order). My wife managed to find a table that wasn't cluttered in garbage, in the corner, at the windows. UNBELIEVABLY, after the very lengthy wait, the food was luke warm at...

Staff very rude and aggressively shouting at each other and yelling order numbers. Zero atmosphere with an untidy seating area and only 20% seats occupied.

Nothing topped up at the condiments. No napkins or ketchup out. Other customers up looking for cutlery. Mix up with order (we opted for table service but clearly they don’t bother just scream orders out) the order booth had no receipt paper. When we got the order from the people at the table next to us the most unhappy dour assistant I’ve encountered ever tried to resolve! Please please find another job you’re clearly unhappy doing this.

It is just not good enough. The staff are all teenagers with zero obvious supervision. Won’t be back this franchise needs an overhaul in operations....
