Have been a huge fan of this restaurant, their food and staff since they opened. However, I feel I must give extra thanks to the staff for the wonderful welcome and meal they hosted for my parents’ 50th Wedding Anniversary recently. The restaurant was very busy for a Friday night, but the staff were very attentive and the food was served promptly and hot, plus was super-tasty. They even decorated the table for our party of nine and helped serenade my Mum & Dad when their cake came out. Thank you La Vita Viva, you made a special meal, extra special

Really nice little Italian had a lovely meal. We done the half pizza - half pasta, everything came piping hot and delicious. Finished off the meal with the chocolate brownie and meringue and cream. Second time going and will be back!

Been coming here for 20 years, never disappointed and always welcomed. Everyone that we have introduced to La Vita Viva has come back independently and brought their friends and family.

Went to park outside restaurant blocked by rude owner of restaurant tipping rubbish told me I'd have to reverse car onto busy road! Then to be told I'm not welcome in his restaurant. Easily resolved if he moved into car park turn around. Instead got aggressive and approached car I'm assuming this was the owner!! I'll never be back this local business dose not respect its customers. Plus somebody need to learn the highway code CANT Reverse into a Main Road. Been once and it would be my last time going Back Simply been put off by this..However Fork and Field down the Road outstanding on this occasion. If I could rate Zero Star I would. Please learn customer service and manners! Word of mouth travels

If the owner attudie is like this, he'll soon have no customers it all starts at the top. Friends eat here alot and was shocked to here it. You'd be better of at Tony Macs in Livingston.

It's a real sign of a poor business if you can't address the negative feedback. Positive feedback only gets a look in.

Bring shame to the...

For years I had enjoyed eating here however after finding out I had an intolerance to gluten I had to stop going to all my favourite places. My mum happened to be ordering from here one night when she noticed they had a gluten free option on the menu and so she mentioned it to me. I ordered straight away and I was SO happy! There is absolutely no compromise in flavour at all, the garlic bread with cheese that I used to love tastes the exact same, I had given up on even trying to enjoy food outside of the house as everywhere that had a gluten free option seemed to be a total afterthought and I never enjoyed it. But now I can actually look forward to going out for a meal or getting a takeaway again thanks to these guys, really appreciate you putting the same love and effort into your gluten free options as you do with the normal ones, you definitely have a life long...

We booked here for dinner as a treat for our daughter as we were advised to try the home made pizza. We were the first family to arrive , although there were other people in right behind us and they were served first. We were not asked if we wanted any sauce etc and when I had to ask 5 mins after my pizza was on the table the lady returned with 1 sachet of tomato sauce (although there were 3 of us at the table) The lady dropped the sachet on the table and walked away without even asking what kind of sauce we were wanting. My chips arrived when the pizza was finished . We got the idea it was because we were not regulars as the staff seemed to ignore us and they even asked the people beside us if they were enjoying there meals. We were like strangers in the corner . What a shame because the...
