It was OK I guess. The chips weren't the greatest, tasted a bit "cardboardy" if I'm being honest, the fish was good but I've had alot better from smaller chip shops. Wasnt really good value for money either, you didn't really get alot of chips. Had to wait 20 minutes, others had phoned orders in and went to front of queue but the food they ordered hadn't been pre- prepared, it was done as they came in, it was more like if you phoned up you got to jump the queue. The man behind the counter was very friendly and polite but he could have done with some help. The place itself seemed a little past its hey day and the menu was limited. Over all I'd say average to just below for a chippy 😔

Limited options in the locality drove us here. Unfortunately these were some of the worst fish & chips we’ve ever had. We thought they would be lovely considering the area but much of the fish batter was rock hard, the chips were extremely salty and there wasn’t much to it.

The greatest fish and chips I've ever eaten. The value for lobster and chips was too good to pass up, so we bought food food to go and ate at the sea front. Very fresh fish and very nice wedge sized chips. The homemade tart sauce was excellent. Definitely recommended.

I'll start by saying the gentleman who served us was very friendly. That's where the good news ends. Single sausage ......... Dripping with grease which squirted out when my daughter bit into it and undercooked. Put it in bin immediately. Chips ....... Soft, soggy and dripping with grease. Put in bin immediately. Donner kebab ........ Meat heated up in microwave, Pitts bread in microwave, no sauce or salad option. Rubbery and disgusting. Put in bin immediately.

Can quite honestly say that this is the worst fish & chip shop I've ever visited. Like .... Ever!!!! To call it "slopps" would be an insult to slopps. £15 in the bin. Was my first visit and will definitely be my last. Would not recommend anyone eats...

Rewritten this review!!

Just waited over 25 minutes for one fish super and one cheeseburger super!

Got it home and the fish was cold, greasy and over cooked! They were telling people 10 minutes... Seriously, one person was on, if they can't cope with the number of customers they need to bring more people in!

They unfortunately have a typical small town mentally, "you've got no where else to go so it doesn't matter if our service is rubbish" well I won't be going back here for awhile as there a perfectly good cafe/restaurant 2 doors up (Café Ca Dora) whose service and food is way better!!

That's 4 less customers...
