Macari's Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

For a long time myself and my wife always had our all day breakfast at Tesco after her hospital appointments at the BGH. But last two times at Tesco the service and food has gone downhill quite a bit.

So had a look round Galashiels for somewhere else, and landed at Macari's. Food and friendliness was excellent and service was very quick. All day breakfast at £5.50 includes a pot of tea or coffee. Place is clean. Food wasn't good. Got an all day breakfast and everything other than the eggs had come out the freezer. Eggs weren't cooked properly either. First impressions. It was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.
