Convenient, and kids seem to always want a McDonalds. From my point of view though, the latte always tastes far too strong, goodness knows what brand of coffee they are using, it is often only like warm, and if I ask for a large one the cup is always about 3/4 full. The food is often warm rather than hot, and if you order more than 3 different things, always check what you get because I have often either been short or have the wrong item. Lastly it is the only McDonalds I know where the roof does not extend over the top of the cars in the drive through, so if it's raining when you go there be prepared for water pouring in through your open window.
Since the last post there has been an improvement with the coffee, it is mostly warm to hot now. We are also pleased that our Granddaughter can get what she orders. She always has a happy meal but likes a Large milkshake with it while Mcdonalds only supplies them with these tiny milkshakes. Until one very clever employee came up with the solution of charging for some extra dips to pay for a Large shake. Well done that person, you are a star and a credit to McDonalds! One very happy granddaughter and I am sure there are others out there who would be happy to know there is a solution to this...
Read moreHonestly had the worst McD takeaway from this place today that I’ve ever had. Chicken McCrispy burger was tasteless, and the chips wet, soggy, limp and worst of all cold. Both tasted like they had been cooked quite a long time before they were served. It’s not the food, it’s the same food served up in hundreds of McD’s across the country, and the same meal in Fraserburgh is great in comparison. It’s the management, and the attention paid to detail. They obviously don’t care if they serve up rubbish quality so long as you pay for it. A responsible manger would make sure anything that goes out the door or window is to the best standard possible, that means properly cooked, at the right temperature, crisp and tasty. So disappointing, I’ve eaten and enjoyed McD’s around the world, from Osaka in Japan where a chicken burger honestly tasted like fine dining, in many places in the USA, to this sad experience, which is definitely the worst! Eat from, or in there,...
Read moreGot my burger from the window and my daughter, her's and we parked. Very strong wind. My burger was mistakenly made with none of the extras, eg pickle, onion etc. Just a burger and 2 smears of ketchup. I went back to get it looked at , the lad said We'd to drive round again.(flippin You've Been Framed) so I battled my way back to the car wrestled the door open and it whipped onto my left shin and took a lump out. Blood down the leg, freezing fingers, ears, hat blown off. [stay with it - nearly done] waited in queue, daughters burger n chips cooling, finally got to window. Same lad appeared, changed burger.!!!! And, I have to say, 2 pots of ketchip that weren't in the bag first time, 2 smears of ketchup, 2 tiny weeny bits of pickle and tiny scatter of minute bits on onion....
