I've used the drive-thru just about once every weekend for the past 15 months. No improvements at all during that time so I thought I'd make my views public. There is no full menu for drivers to view, so you have to remember what options are available. Even worse, one of the screens next to the speaker does not even show what you've ordered so you have to remember that as well, which is a pain if you have a big order. And especially when the person on the other end of the speaker is rushing you and constantly asking "Anything else?" PLEASE put up a full menu at each side of the drive-thru and fix the display screen on the left! The food is usually cold. The burgers are of questionable quality and mistakes are made quite frequently, so now I carefully check what's in the bag before I drive off, which must be quite annoying for the driver behind me but I've been caught out too many times. You get charged 10p "Government charge" for the tiny paper bag the food is served in. Until very recently the regular size McFlurry ice cream cups were literally half full. I assume someone complained because now I'm told they are weighed. Still a big gap at the top of the cup but I will have to take their word for it. In my view this franchisee suffers from complacency due to the lack of competition in the local area. The next fast-food chain is in Inverness, half an hour away. The one saving grace is the staff at the windows, they are usually pleasant and helpful, at any...
Read moreWent for dinner with my wife and ordered a burger meal each and a cheese melt share box. I had a frappe and wife ordered a hot chocolate. The burgers came and they had forgotten her bacon. Then we realised the sauces for the cheese dippers were on our tray but the cheese dippers weren't there. I went back to counter to let them know they forgot our dippers and one of the employees in kitchen indicated to his colleague I needed assistance, the girl came upto the front, looked at me for a second then turned back around and walked away!? I then had to ask the older woman who was cleaning to have some assistance as nobody was working the register to help me. She personally sorted our cheese dippers and apologised. Then my wife took a sip of her hot chocolate which tasted like water, I tried it. Yep tasted like water. Again called the woman from before who said she'd sort it. She came back 5 mins later apologising and that we were right, the hot chocolate powder in the machine was empty so they had given us a cup of brown water. Not a good experience I must say. Props to the one older woman in the store that sorted our issues, the young kids working there need far more training. Most issues I've ever had from any mcdonalds...
Read more2 words....filthy and unhygienic! Staff without hair coverings hovering around the food prep areas, chatting with colleagues. Afew in the back just couldn't help wiping their noses while preparing food too! Disgusting!! I know macdonalds isn't a 5 star cuisine experience, but come on, basic standards of hygiene are surely a must when dealing with the general public! Tables and shop floor covered in rubbish, dirty tables, food and rubbish on the floor. Had to physically ask for our table to be cleaned...the lady that came out to do it seemed to have awful trouble finding cleaning products and took ages to actually do it...then, she only did ours, oblivious to what was around her at the time!!! Another customer asked for theirs to be done at the same time and it felt like an inconvenience!!! Bins overflowing, wrong orders....AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Im surprised we weren't ill after our experience!! Never going back...
