Original review 2018: I have lost track of how many times we have got an incorrect order when ordering at the drive-thru - because of this we tend to go inside and order now.
I've also stopped ordering a chicken legend from this location as every single time they overload it with sauce. I like sauce but I don't want it literally swamping the meal.
Updated review 2019: This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to - badly run franchise perhaps?
Visited various times as it's unfortunately en route to work, and the folk in the morning are great but any other time it's atrocious: incorrect orders rude staff charging for a bag automatically and not asking if we want one wrong sauce in chicken legend (multiple times) not listening on the drive thru..
On the last point there, I would like to elaborate. My partner wanted something quick to eat and I reluctantly went to this McDonald's (Saturday 4th May 2019 at ~20:40) and ordered a Mint Aero Mcflurry. The girl on the drive thru clearly wasn't listening as I had to repeat his part of the order three times (is it hard to understand "cheeseburger meal with cappuccino"?) and then when I said I wanted a "regular sized mint aero mcflurry" she proceeded to reply "whaaast? Aero? What's an aero...". I then repeated and said "the mint aero mcflurry" to which there was a long pause and she said, again, "aerooooooohhhhh?". I didn't even respond this time and after s few seconds she clicked "oh, the mcflurry, right".
I have absolutely zero idea of what else she was doing that made it so difficult to understand my order. I speak clearly and work in a job where I speak to people all over the world, so it isn't like I was mumbling/speaking...
Read moreI notice more and more recently, especially since the Covid 19 Pandemic, that McDonalds have taken a severe dip in their Restaurant Customer Service skills. It seems to be that everytime you visit a McDonalds Restaurant these days, customers are left waiting for long, drawn out, periods of time either to be served or to place an order. This is due to priority being given to the McDelivery drivers and or Just Eat/Uber drivers. McDonalds, Post Covid have forgotten how to treat their Restaurant customer with warmth and indeed, Respect! I take my family to McDonalds regularly, Well, I say take, thats now "took", my family here regularly and it was a good nice time out for the kids. But now by the time your food is served to you it is stone cold and nobody wants to eat it. You take the food back up to the counter to complain and they replace it with even more cold stuff. I would recommend avoiding McDonalds Restaurants at all costs, the delivery option may be better but the restaurant staff appear uninterested, unhelpful and downright rude at times.

Read moreI ordered through the app and collected my meal. As it was a work break me and some other colleagues ordered some food and collected it. As we were on the clock we picked up our food in moderate time and brought it back to our work not realising that one of the savoury burger meals wasn’t there. As there wasn’t much time left on our break it was pointless going back to ask for it so we decided we would just call them to ask for a refund or something similar. To no avail there was no answer. The line just kept ringing out. We kept trying until our break was finished then tried again later to call them- again no answer. Also one of the burgers we did get were cold and like I said there was no time to go back and change it. So we were given a cold burger and were duped out of a meal….. and still haven’t gotten our money back! Not impressed at all! Certainly won’t be going back there anytime soon as it’s just going down hill. Will probably have to start going to KFC or Burger King instead as their food is at least warm when we get it and they know how to...
