Meenas Fine Indian — Restaurant in Scotland

Seven of us sat down for dinner here last night, welcoming interior, pleasant ambience and no intrusively loud music makes this a comfortable place for sharing a table with friends. Service was good, attentive but not pushy. Starters were very good, with the chef's platter a treat for the carnivores and the pakoras light and crispy with none of the doughiness you often find. We all had different main courses, portions are generous, food was served at an ideal temperature and everyone enjoyed their own (and their neighbour's) choices. My lamb dhansac was particularly delicious. The IPA on offer was excellent. Most of us failed to finish despite healthy appetites and the staff were very happy to provide "doggy bags" which solves the what are we having for dinner tonight problem. On a personal level I'd like to note my appreciation of the lighting levels in the restaurant, many places nowadays almost require you to use the torch on your phone to see what's on your plate. Amazing 🤩 Outstanding 😊 from when you enter until you leave the service is amazing, Originaly from Glasgow we found it extremely hard to find a great Indian in Ayrshire. Then we came across Meenas, Without doubt the best Indian in Ayrshire. Just back tonight the 13th January and again the service and Food is amazing 🤩 You need to try the veg pakora the best we've had. The shashlik kebab starter amazing and I mean amazing 😍😍😍😍 We had King Prawn as the main and we can't decide whats best as they are all amazing so you just need to keep going back and work your way through the menu.

Wine selection is very good. We've been 3 times in a month it's that's good, Thank you not only for the service but the food wow wow wow.

This place is fantastic and we’re lucky to have it in Stewarton. I’ve sat in a few times over the last few years for family meals and also had takeaways. The food across the whole menu is excellent every time and the service is always first class. The staff are polite, friendly and attentive. My daughter is 4 years old and she’s always made to feel extremely welcome, as well as little adjustments being made for her menu choices and portions. The restaurant and toilets are spotlessly clean, I can’t fault any aspect of it....
