Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

Terrible terrible terrible. I asked for : 1 plate of chips..... easy 1 dry roll.....easy What I got : 9 over cooked chips on a roll.

When I took it back and explained what I wanted the 9 chips were tipped onto a separate plate and I was handed all the same food back just on different plates. If that was what I wanted I could have done that myself. This food was not for me but for a gentleman with Autism I was supporting to do a little shopping and have a bite to eat. After the same food had been handed back to me the gentleman wanted to leave straight away as that was NOT what he wanted. These 2 things that happened spoiled the whole if his day. Waited 45 minutes for our food, two ingredients listed on the menu are missing on each of our breakfasts - we weren’t told that they will be missing items, we weren’t given extras to compensate for the missing items, one of my sausages was a different colour inside than the other one - assuming it was undercooked as it was more pink, and there was not enough cutlery to use either.

One man cooking everyone’s food on a Sunday Morning is not okay. The staff would have known about the delays and could have told us at ordering that there is long waits, so we could have got something else to eat and not waste our time. And also inform us about the missing items and maybe compensate...

Terrible service at the till when ordering first item ordered wasn't put through I noticed it on the receipt when we sat down I pointed it out to the staff member who took the order to be told he would put it through and get it made up our food then arrived minus the missing order so we asked another member of staff from the kitchen if it was reordered to be told it wasn't so we had to go back up and order it again by this time all the other food was cold wont be...
