After seeing loads of people mention Padi on Tiktok we decided to try it, a bit further out from us but decided to try it due to the reviews. Our Order was Chicken Satay Spring Rolls - Starter Chicken Curry Chopped Large Fried Rice Prawn Crackers Total £20.40 Price was reasonable/average, but considering the amount of mentions we have saw about this place we were expecting exceptional quality food. The Satay Spring rolls were not all that tasty, yes, fresh and crispy but the flavouring inside was distinctively average. The Curry was really a mixture of dark and bright orange, nice cuts of chopped chicken, onions where cooked well but it was the taste it had almost sort of a powered taste. Had sliced deserted red chilli through it also first I’ve ever seen this. Fried Rice was really fresh can’t fault it. The Salt & Chilli Chips were actually a different colour of orange, tons of powered seasoning, spring onions, loads of fried crispy onions. If anything very over seasoned & really not nice for it. Sometimes simple is best. Prawn Crackers wasn’t the best standard just cheap average takeaway ones. I know lots of people don’t notice the difference but the thicker ones are far better quality and tasting. Wouldn’t recommend or return. Branding looks amazing, lovely designed menu, website & takeaway. Just not the food for me.

Service and price was good however the food is pretty poor. Salt and chilli chips were over done and so was the salt and chilli chicken. The egg fried rice was all clumped together and had no flavour. The salt and chilli chicken was barely flavoured and the batter was like over cooked powered, which coated my mouth . Wouldn’t bother ordering from here , nothing worse than a disappointing dinner

This place is appalling. I'm stumped how anyone can think this is actual food never mind good food.

After online recommendations for Padi, we ordered and I have to agree with Lynn, a previous reviewer on here, that it's the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever tasted. I feel like there should be a support group for victims of this junk.

Chicken noodle soup was thin processed chicken strips, rice noodles and water. Nothing else. I think they use the noodle water they were boiled in and try to pass it off as stock. Disgusting. Brass neck to call it soup.

Honey Chilli Chicken looked to be strips of chicken skin, and not chicken meat, in stodgy sickly batter in greasy clumps served with dry rice. Completely inedible.

If you've ever had good salt n chilli chips, you definitely didn't get them from here. Every course went in the bin, even the chips.

At this point, I'm honestly just relieved I didn't order any fish or seafood.

Don't do this to yourself. You...

Horrible owner in takeaway . arogant shouting disrepectful guy. Made an order told him NHS blue light card . went to pick up and went mental in shop. Told him keep meal and had to walk away . Busby takeaway is better was just closer . Disgrace to community speaking to anyone like that Padi owner . Just a loud shout doesn't speak good English had to ask young server to help understand him. Don't know why we put up with that in community. Went in other week asked for Duck just in soy sauce .and staff told me can't change anything as it's how it comes in with sauce in it pre packed . ??? Terrible terrible service . Young staff in reasteraunt lovely and understand it's a different owner for resteraunt I'm told by staff. Definitely wouldn't go back to any part of shop .

Hope the old train station shop turns into a oriental take away . Sure it...
