I have now been eating here on repeat since it has opened from weekly takeaways to sit in meals it has never left myself the wife or the most passionate and probably critical about food 6 year old disappointed.

My Son will always have the Korma it was that good he requested we went back the next week as he scoffed the lot - including the Glabjabmon ice cream Sunday - I had to try it and confirm it was excellent.

Every starter I have tried has been excellent and would point anyone looking for a recommendation to the Chicken Poori easily shared between two or as a snack simply to stuff your face with guilt free.

The wings, variety of pakoras and other starters are all superb - Pakora portion on take away is also worth mentioning as it’s very generous.

For your main courses if your feeling adventurous and you can handle a bit of heat the South Indian garlic chilli will tick every box - slightly sweeter but will also leave the sweats on the forehead and the fire bubbling away in your belly. I would recommend any curry on the menu from old favourites to the specials - The Balti, chasni traditional curry all pack fantastic flavours of coriander, garlic ginger they are all banging.

Nan breads are generous in size with extra buttery garlic or peshwari and any request can be met - crispy, doughy cut into tiny pieces nothing is too much fuss.

Overall the venue itself is worlds improved from the previous owners of the years and the investment is clear to see - the toilets are very clean and service is attentive but not over bearing the balance is just right.

Great for families, couples and I would also say a great meeting point to kick a night off - we will be back or ordering using the direct booking menu - when you book 4 you get your 5th with 20%...

I arrived at this restaurant tonight and was greeted by rudeness and aggression by both the male delivery driver and a female member of staff who has since confirmed herself to be the owner named Sonia. I was approached in my car shouted at and name called, despite me trying to explain the situation to Sonia and provide a resolution to an issue created by another customer in a very poorly laid out car park. Given how I was treated as a young female, alone with a baby, I was left shaken and scared by the actions of these staff members. I later attempted to call the restaurant to discuss this matter and how I was made to feel when Sonia again was rude to me before ending the call. Given this I have resorted to sharing my poor experience on this review.

If you are looking for a family friendly safe restaurant please stay clear of this place. Absolutely disgusted and horrified at how I was treated, with a baby in my care, and made to feel.

*edit as unable to reply the owners response. What you have described here is completely and utterly wrong. The blue customer absolutely could reverse and at no time did the words you have said come out my mouth, actually, at no point was I able to say a full sentence due to you shouting abuse towards me. I did not block or park my car anywhere, I was driving and a car pulled out in front of my I did eventually move my car but this was nothing to do with you mentioning police (which again is untrue) i moved when the cars behind me cleared allowing me to move.

Your response absolutely highlights your lack of customer service, as does the multiple other reviews commenting on the poor service in...

This is a lovely place to visit. I have been many times and brought family and friends to it. So much so, I used their app for the first time to order in. Very Sad to say, it was a bit of a disappointing experience. To start, it Took almost 1 hour 30mins to finally be delivered. I actually called to cancel it as it was taking so long and I had to leave, but was advised I couldn’t. The lady I spoke to was lovely enough, but after expressing disappointment, I just felt she lacked empathy. Sadly, I had no time to enjoy the curry as I had to leave soon after it arrived. It was fine the next day when I tried it, but just a bit disappointing.

Again, I congratulate the owners of the restaurant for creating a lovely place and I would suggest to people to come along and check it out. Test out their lunchtime specialp. Hopefully it will inspire you to return. Sadly, for me, the delivery experience, the feeling of a lack of empathy, and the fact that I eat toast that night rather than a curry; just sadly leaves a bitter taste.

I was a semi regular …. maybe in the future I will be a regular again. For now, I think it will be a while before I go back.

In short…go to the restaurant and enjoy it. Have a lovely experience. For me though, I would not necessary use the delivery.

NOTE: changed review from 3 stars to 1 star due to no response on my complaints, and the constant spamming of texts to my phone, even though I have given no permission for marketing emails/text. Furthermore, as they are also breaking the law under GDPR with no availability to stop...

Only order if you are happy to heat your dinner in the microwave. When phoning to complain after nearly a two hour wait I was told my food was sent out fresh and with the driver 8.45. One driver went home sick and there is nothing I can do about it which I totally understand. On the app says with driver at 8.15. Finally delivered 9.10 and It was stone cold!!!…..and not just one dish. The whole lot. Spent over Ā£50 for a cold meal. Wish I had checked it before paying the driver….would have given it back to him. 😔. When asking the owner so how are u going to resolve this….by apologising!! Not good enough Phat Bhuna. To top it all, piece of dirty blue roll attached to the bag of one of our breads!! If you had tried to resolve the matter I wouldn’t be sitting writing this. Just unacceptable.

Wonderful first visit here: +Staff are lovely, so friendly and welcoming. +Great atmosphere; thanks to the staff, presentable restaurant, and the excellent decor - spacious yet homely. +Lots of gluten-free vegan options on the menu, even had choices for me on the lunchtime menu (which is a miracle). +Toilets as are fit for a palace; the fine decor etc isn't reserved for the restaurant floor alone. +Lovely food; I wanted more, which is always a sign that it's good. Portion sizes were good as the person I was dining with loved their food, but could not finish it. -Some potholes in the car park. -Music was at an uncomfortably high volume on my second visit. -School neds hanging about the car park entrance at lunchtime. A classy place with great food, I will definitely be backšŸ‘

Visited with my husband after reading lots of great reviews in Glasgow’s Good Food Group on Facebook and it certainly lived up to expectations. We had the chefs combo to start which was the perfect size with lots to try. Food was tasty and had lots of flavour. Mains were an excellent size, we had Lamb Rogan Josh, Phat Malwa, Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan and these were just bursting with flavour and just so tasty. Restaurant beautifully decorated to a high standard and really comfortable with a lovely ambience. The staff were really kind and attentive and a pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend Phat Bhuna you won’t be disappointed. We can't wait to return to try out more of the menu.
