Since we live in Banchory, we’ve ordered numerous times from Rangoli as the food is extremely flavourful and authentic. As an Indian I’ve come across numerous so called ‘Indian restaurants/takeaways’ that do not deliver authentic Indian food. Rangoli is a class apart and I’m glad I can order their meals whenever I want. My favourite meal is the lamb biryani that I had the privilege of trying and I must say it is one of the best biryanis I’ve had in a very long time! The biryani was beautifully flavoured and the lamb was really tender. It’s very hard to come across authentic, traditional biryanis around the Deen and I’ve not been overly impressed with what’s offered in any of the restaurants/takeaways. Rangoli is an exception. Anyone who enjoys authentic Indian food should do yourselves a favour and try out the meals available in this gem of a takeaway. You won’t be disappointed!

This is by far the best Indian I have ever been too. Me and my partner regularly order from here as it is simply the best. We have tried many over the years and nothing compares. The chicken tikka laziz is amazing, it tastes unreal. We usually get this and pilau rice, onion badjis, and garlic and cheese naan bread. The naan breads are just so fine, soft and full of flavour. I highly recommend Rangoli, we wouldn’t go anywhere else now as the prices are very reasonable considering how great it is.

We've ordered the Set Meal 2 and got it delivered in 60min. That was okay, and the meal was very satisfying and delicious! I can recommend Rangoli to everyone who likes Indian food!

Ordered the meal for two, tonight. £40 that included £5 delivery charge to the local caravan park. Two poppadum and chicken pakora starters. (Starter for two = 5 pieces of chicken between us. Fortunately we didn't have to fight to see who got the fifth one). The chicken was dry and as tough as old boots. No spiced onions or lemon wedge, but two wee pots, one a luminous green minty watery dip and another one, masquerading as mango chutney put through a blender. Main meal each consisted of Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma...what could go wrong? Bits of chicken drowned on a tasteless soup of what...well, the Masala tasted more like a sweet, coconut infused something, whilst the Korma tasted, tasteless, just total bland. The Bombay Potato Aloo, it was like Aunt Bessie's tattie wedgie chips with some tasteless spice thrown over them. The Nan was fine as was the rice. Ordered based on folks reviews. Not sure what to think of that. We usually keep some for next days lunch, but not tonight's fare, I'm afraid. Barely edible and tasteless and not worth Spending £35 on a meal for two. We both agreed we've tasted a better Indian meal for from Tesco at a fraction of the...
