Read moreOrdered the meal for two, tonight. £40 that included £5 delivery charge to the local caravan park. Two poppadum and chicken pakora starters. (Starter for two = 5 pieces of chicken between us. Fortunately we didn't have to fight to see who got the fifth one). The chicken was dry and as tough as old boots. No spiced onions or lemon wedge, but two wee pots, one a luminous green minty watery dip and another one, masquerading as mango chutney put through a blender. Main meal each consisted of Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma...what could go wrong? Bits of chicken drowned on a tasteless soup of what...well, the Masala tasted more like a sweet, coconut infused something, whilst the Korma tasted, tasteless, just total bland. The Bombay Potato Aloo, it was like Aunt Bessie's tattie wedgie chips with some tasteless spice thrown over them. The Nan was fine as was the rice. Ordered based on folks reviews. Not sure what to think of that. We usually keep some for next days lunch, but not tonight's fare, I'm afraid. Barely edible and tasteless and not worth Spending £35 on a meal for two. We both agreed we've tasted a better Indian meal for from Tesco at a fraction of the...

The biryani was beautifully flavoured and the lamb was really tender. It’s very hard to come across authentic, traditional biryanis around the Deen and I’ve not been overly impressed with what’s offered in any of the restaurants/takeaways. Rangoli is an exception.
Anyone who enjoys authentic Indian food should do yourselves a favour and try out the meals available in this gem of a takeaway. You won’t be...
