Rolls @ Roys — Restaurant in Scotland

Inedible breakfast.

Ordered 2 x large breakfast with extras to give to the kids. However, when the breakfast came it was cold, not even lukewarm.. it was cold!

Ordered at 10:24 and finally arrived at 12:01.

The black pudding was as dry as cardboard (see attached). Bacon was extremely fatty, more fat than actual bacon and they had the cheek to pull that off as an extra slice (80p). Egg was way over cooked. See photos for All.

I called the shop regarding missing items, to hear another person say “too busy to send them out”. I was offered a refund as too busy, then told they would send them out but cannot give me any time as they are too busy.. opted for refund.. then cheek to tell me “we will bring then out, don’t want ur child to starve”.

I am disappointed as I’ve been here a few times but today was just a disgrace. If I were in their cafe I’d have sent it back instantly.

Refund for whole breakfast...

Great small cafe that’s hidden away. We got a couple of breakfast rolls and they were delicious. A few days later we decided to order lunch through Just Eat. I tried the Signature Burger (bacon, chilli, cheese, jalapeños, onions & hot sauce) & chips. The burger was well filled and the patty itself was really thick. Spent 10 minutes standing after ordering. 4 customers come in after me and get served hot food. I ask if my rolls on got laughed at then she asked the cook and it wasn't even on after him serving others. All I got in response was "we are busy" and a shoulder shrug.
