This is a very welcome cafe after a good walk. We had walked from Chanonry Point along the sand. I had been to this cafe before and we got a very nice welcome. We made our order and took a seat inside. We had tomato & basil soup and a ham & cheese panini. It was just what we needed and we found the staff very helpful. It is good to support the smaller cafes and this one is in a terrific location right beside Rosemarkie Beach. I would think this cafe will be very busy over the weekend it probably would be a good idea to book before you come as there is not a lot of room inside.

This is a belter gaf. Its right on the beach but away from the road. Its got great outdoor seating area overlooking the bay. Some wild swimmers walked in in their dry robes for a brew to warm their cockles. Then we all watched a dolphin breach the water a few times, in eyeshot, no binoculars. Girl who works there says she sees it all the time. Also, there is a bit if grass with a goalpost next door and a caged basketball court to the side for kids to play like, and there was some balls I think and paraphernalia inside the caf. Belter gaf!!

Beautiful location and friendly service. BUT The coffee machine wasn't working AND they only had white bread (which my partner reacts to). She ordered first, it was only when I came to order that they told me about the coffee machine. Having got that far we ate there anyway but overall they seemed disorganised. The location WAS nice though... If the location matters more than the food then it's a great place

This is a top find worth the very short walk from the centre of Rosemarkie, or the campsite at the other end of the road (10 mins walk) - great for families, dog owners and anyone who loves a friendly welcoming atmosphere, delicious home-made lunches, steaming hot tea and good coffee and home-made cakes. Extra effort by brilliant staff like a special birthday cake reserved for me (thank you!) complete with candle and singing staff were greatly appreciated (we had been in a few times that week whilst on holiday!). All profits from this venture go back into the local community, so you can feel good about not making your own lunch/having cake two days in a row!...
