Our first night at the bar was nice, good service from the bar staff, cafe style takeout food was nice, nothing special; and all that is ok as it is what we expected. Tonight though was a different matter. We popped in for a few drinks, again with our dogs. We sat in an alcove out of everyones way. A lady walked passed with her dog and some of dogs got excited - and 10 seconds of barking. This happened again some 5 mins later when she walked passed again with her dog, again some of ours dogs started barking (I might add that other dogs were barking as well). Suddenly the barman came across and said the Manager was getting a little pissed of of the dogs making noise..." this upset us , we left to finish our drinks outside in the Haar and didn't go back as planned. They are just lucky that there is no competition in the area...

Maybe this sounds like a small thing to some, but for us, it was a big and unnecessary cost. I take some blame for not checking the receipt and believing the high price was because the menu prices from Google Maps could have been outdated, but I can say I am very...
Read moreAbsolutely shocking service and very very rude staff. We were basically asked to leave if we couldn’t settle our dog. Makes it sound like he was barking constantly which he wasn’t, when other dog owners came in their dogs barked also. What they failed to notice was the people round the corner from us who had several dogs who were barking…so it wasn’t even our dog yet we were singled out. They need to be taught how to speak to people given they are in the hospitality trade. Don’t say you’re dog friendly when you clearly aren’t. I couldn’t even say they are people friendly either. Avoid this place...
