Starbucks Afton Way Drive Thru — Restaurant in Scotland

Waited 25 minutes for a single coffee. Went through the drive-thru had to wait a full 5 minutes until someone took my order, after finally getting to the window I was asked to take a space. After waiting 10 minutes with no sign of my order I went inside. At the till I was completely ignored by all the staff members. I finally managed to get someone’s attention by saying excuse me, this is when the very rude middle aged woman behind the coffee machine snapped “what” at me. I explained I had ordered my coffee and had been waiting outside for near 20 minutes. She preceded to say that she was on with two new members of staff and that she was the only one who was able to make the coffee’s and that there was nothing she could do about it. I waited for another few minutes only to see that cars that were pulling up to the window were being given their order. After getting the same rude woman’s attention I reiterated that I had already been through the drive-thru and asked why people who had only just ordered were getting served and I had yet to get my coffee she asked what my order was. After hearing this she stated oh your coffee is there and asked the guy to hand it over, this was amongst 10 other cups of coffee waiting to be given to customers. Not only was I ignored an rudely spoken to I was given a cold coffee (with the wrong roast type). I have come almost every day to this Starbucks and have never had any such issue but after being spoken to like this an given such poor service I...

Incase your wondering WHY give a 2 Star rating when Food is a 5 Star & Service a 4 Star. Food great , Staff lovely & friendly but the place was FILTHY . Yes it was lunchtime 1pm & yes it was busy ( in bursts) , but when it wasn't busy & no cars or queues , no-one came from behind the counter to clean ( for a good half hour we were eating). They only came to clean when we were getting up to go . Tables , Floor & also the milk/bin station was filthy . I counted 6 tables with dirty dishes sitting all this time , also people had obviously moved dishes from a table & put them at the milk station , with spilt tea/teabags . There was no clean or even clear tables available so we also moved dishes to another table & took one that had lesser food underneath. After us , there were others looking for a table , even a few workmen were looking about but ended up just leaving . Don't Normally leave a poor review, but this is not the first time I have found this place not the cleanest , but thought I would try again. Sorry ,...

Usually this location is not very busy, however this was a Sunday afternoon so I kind of expected the traffic they had. It was quite a wait for any orders, sit in or takeaway. That's fine I can understand a rush and all the staff were busy doing their jobs. However I got a gluten free ham and cheese panini, and they served me a regular one in a takeaway bag that said it was the gluten free. I did not realize I had the wrong one until I had taken a couple bites. I have Celiac's disease, so I can NOT have anything with gluten. Told the staff and they replaced it with a "sorry but we're busy". Sorry but that's not an excuse! This is an allergy that was blatantly disregarded and has made me ill. Thankfully it wasn't something worse like a nut allergy that can instantly hospitalize someone. Please train your staff to follow...
