The Black Horse — Restaurant in Scotland

Love the black horse restaurant. 😀❤I've Been going there 4 a meal & drink with my family 4 a few years now. It's Always a nice quiet place 2 sit down, socialise, eat or drink. 🍴🍺🍷☕🍵I Went 2 the black horse earlier today. The menus have changed but the foods/drinks are still the same. I had a full scottish breakfast (toast with butter, french toast, black pudding, potato scone, fried egg, grilled tomato & bacon with pepper & tomato ketchup) 🍴🍅🍄🍢🍡🍳🍞 & a cup of coffee. 🍵 Also had a 2nd cup of coffee (a refill) after i finished my scots brekie. I took photos of the new menus, my scots breafast & selfie of myself. I posted the images of myself eating out at the black horse on my facebook & instagram profiles. 📷📱I Also posted the images i took of the menus & scots brekie i had at the black horse on google maps of the place online & publicily. I'd give this place a 5 out of 5 stars from me....

Went in on a midweek afternoon. Staff were really friendly, the prices were good, good menu selection/deals, nice decor and the food decent pub fare. My one issue was in the back room I sat eating my lunch listening to an auld yin complain about her sore feet for 20 minutes. Dead atmosphere. One thing they should do is make sure there's a wee bit of music or the TV on just to give the place a wee bit more of a lively atmosphere; just purely because of the demographic of the typical customer at certain times. First day of Level 2 lockdown restrictions in Glasgow - excited at visiting local pub but extremely disappointed. Poor COVID restrictions in place - no GDPR as clipboard in place as track and trace using same pen for multiple users and was left on table for some time even thought people entered the premises. Left and returned in the evening - no track and trace. Table service in place but waited 30 mins with no waitress service - only 2 staff members behind the bar who serviced the regulars - left with no drink.
