The Braes Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Scotland

Was there on friday 26 july 19, this was our first time on these premises and we found the bar staff uncooperative and disrespectful and arrogant towards my husband and me,in response to a civil questionl Ì.E. could we please have a menù please,staff: there on the tables. Me: no the table we were escorted to, has no menu. This went on for a good 20 minutes when we finally got our meal. It was cold and bland and the small child would not eat his meal due to the wait and meal was cold. The highchair was faulty as there was a broken buckle and we had to tie it in a knot.

On Saturday 27 july 19, we went for breakfast,by goodness we wish we hadn't. They got the order wrong from the beginning to the end . We got our porridge out then our pancakes arrived. The full breakfast didnt receive there toast. Your even lucky you got a 1 star. You know what they say about word of mouth.

Don't listen to the reviews on here as myself and my partner think the Braes Bar & Restaurant is excellent. The food is absolutely lovely especially the burgers and the macaroni cheese my 2 faves. The Pub & Restaurant is very clean. The staff are lovely, its dog friendly and they cant do enough for you and your wee furry friend (water bowl & biscuits). We have been coming here past 3 years now to kinkell braes and we love it. It's a lovely caravan park. Honestly go to the Braes you wont be...

I found the food and service pretty poor. Some of the children's meals were inedible, no-one came back to check on the table after serving the food so children ate what was ok and left the rest. I told the waitress when clearing up that the food was inedible and the reply was "ok thanks I'll tell the chef", which i thought was a poor response to the customer. They seem to have a captured audience and feel they don't need to provide a quality service it food. All-in-all pretty...
