First time visiting and not too busy and easy to find a table. Friendly staff. App wouldn’t work to confirm final step of food order unless on their wifi, odd but at least was able to get onto wifi free so no big issue. Good choice of alcohol free beers for dry January (!) although I am never a big fan of such I stuck with it lol. My son’s American style cheese burger depressing with one gerkin and the “red onion and ketchup” was a smear under the bottom burger. He was quite disappointed. Fish and chips good , batter nice and crispy but fish was lukewarm, seems like it maybe had been cooked then sitting in warming shelf. A pity as otherwise would have given 4 star. Gents toilets could have done with a clean as a bit fragrant (!) and it was only 7.30pm on Saturday so can’t blame overuse. Overall no major complaints and with a bit of tweaking could be a 4star pub experience. I’ll be back again though, when dry January has finished as fine selection of real ales to sample!

Part of the wetherspoons chain. They have a large and varied menu, with breakfast before noon. It is reasonably priced and the food is of a reasonable quality. There is a large selection of beers, ales and spirits, all at very good prices. There is outdoor seating. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful.

Not the best, not the worst wetherspoons I've been to. Typical spoons value. Very limited real ales options at this venue, which was disappointing. Staff were confused to what they had and didn't have on draught. The plates after we had finished sat on tables for ages before they were cleared.

Terrible customer service, came in for breakfast with partner was served fairly quickly but substituted some items on my breakfast and was then over charged, the girl serving was helpful and went to get the manager to correct the mistake, waited 15 minutes at the bar for the manager leaving my partner sat by herself waiting to then be told that when you substitute you have to pay extra ( not correct ) after being spoken to rudely cancelled the whole order and asked for a refund and after the manager sighing and telling me my breakfast was already cooked and some more sighs after another wait got my money back with no apology, absolute waste of time if substitutes are charged extra the staff need to inform the customer of this when they’re ordering not act like it’s the customers fault they have been overcharged, very...

I usually love this pub and go here often but yesterdays visit was a bit iffy, used the app to order for 6 people and only 3 of the orders were right, the pub had ran out of salt too so had to go to local shop to buy some to season food. Chili baked potatoes came without sour cream, ham and mushroom pizza came with no mushrooms (found out after the order was brought to table) next quinoa salad was ordered and they had ran out of Ingredients so they brought a side salad instead ( the shift manager changed order for us to another meal) and ordered 12 onion rings and only 6 came which the manager rectified also. Ordered soft drinks which were showing available on the app but were actually out of stock. Fryers and freezer had broke down. Hopefully they will be back to their normal great...
