Super friendly. Covid safe. Fab cafe. Firstly, we have to recognise the the owners and staff have gone out of their way to ensure that this delightful cafe is as Covid-safe as possible. By creating private booths with plastic sheeting and reducing the number of tables they have, plus a high standard of cleaning, it all makes for a very comfortable visit. We had some delicious home made soup and jacket potatoes. The service was prompt and friendly and the food did exactly what we needed - warmed us up and ensured we left with full bellies.

This is a nice cosy little cafe in Banchory. I opted for the soup and sandwich deal with a cup of tea. It is very reasonably priced because it was less than ten pounds for everything. I had lentil soup and it was nice and thick. I had a ham toastie with it and it was very nice. The staff were very nice and the cafe was pretty busy at lunchtime. There was a good mix of ages which is always a healthy sign.

Came in to get out of the rain to find that it was only open for takeaways and wanted to get a bowl of soup. The website doesn't mention anything about the kitchen shutting 1 hour before the shop, which is very disappointing. The cakes did look nice, though, and the staff were pleasant enough

This is a lovely wee cafe in the heart of Banchory. Plenty of seats inside and a few small bistro tables outside. What appealed was not seeing rows of pushchairs outside telling us it was more for adults wanting to have a quiet place to enjoy some food and drink rather than a parent haunt. Inside is lovely, clean and menu offers a range of home bakes, breakfast rolls and drinks. We opted for a cherry scone each, couple of coffees and a breakfast rolls. The drinks were lovely as was the breakfast roll with the bread feeling fresh and egg cooked perfectly. The scones were a bit dry as if frozen and defrosted, quite small and the cherries chopped so small it was hard to taste them. The service throughout however was wonderful with all staff being polite and attentive. Lovely location, great service and good...

Absolutely shocking being treated all because they never gave my mum a chance to get her badge out . My mum disabled and recovering from cancer and I’m on crutches. The owner is shocking . Avoid the cafe folks especially if ur disabled . Better cafes In Banchory. No your wrong u never gave me a chance to give my mum her badge she carry’s in her bag as she has a stunt for treatment actually. Still will not be back treated like that least the old owner was much more caring . Least other cafes treat you with respect and suitable for folk with...
