Sadly, landlords are out of touch with their excellent staff. Rude! Fao. Landlords, your customer service is non existent. I’ve never before experienced a glass removed from my hand 30 minutes before advertised closing time. Any positive experience during the evening negated by terrible attitude towards paying customers. Having taken numerous guests over 2 weekends on my recommendation, spending collectively significant money I would expect a less ignorant approach to customer service. In future we will vote with our feet.

In response to your answer, please get your facts correct. I most certainly did not call you anything of the kind. Suggest you identify people correctly. I have been responsible for bringing you custom since 2022 of significant sums of money, clearly not valued. Your advertised closing time on CAMRA on a Saturday night is 11pm . Finishing a drink without having it virtually snatched from my hands at around 10.30pm is not unreasonable. I am criticising unprofessional behaviour for the benefit of anyone who may risk...

This is an actual must have destination for anyone who enjoys truly delicious food. I don't care how far away you are - it's vital you eat here. 😁

I'm trying to find the words to express how truly exceptional and so very special the food is. I had the Seabass. The best Seabass I have ever eaten. Fresh, moist and cooked to perfection with the most wonderful taste. The dish was so simple yet the flavours combined in the most unexpected, delightful and pleasing way yet without eclipsing the fish. Orange and Fennel sauce. A revelation!!! The chef is a real talent. My friends felt the same about their dishes too and we were all so pleased and impressed. It was so good we've immediately booked in for tomorrow so we can do it all over again.

The people who own it and work there are so very lovely. They were so friendly and welcoming and funny and kind. It was exciting to learn about renovations they have been doing, and ladies, the toilets are simply amazing!!

We almost had a lovely meal, in what could have been a very enjoyable couple of evenings in a small village pub. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming to any questions we had, the landlords however were quite the opposite. Rude and disrespectful to the amount of money spent on this and previous evenings, by the landlords immaturely pushing us out the door 10 minutes after calling last orders, an already ‘early’ finish on a Saturday at 10pm (advertised 11pm), happily taking our money for a round of 7 drinks and getting argumentative after calling out this attitude. Just so they could have their own leaving drinks, for a lovely well mannered member of staff. It’s a real shame, but we won’t...

We have been coming to Cromarty for years and the Fishertown inn is a welcome reincarnation of a local pub with great food. The new interior is warm and welcoming which is the perfect way to describe the new menu, service and food. Customer service is spot on. Friendly and informal. Everything you expect and want from a local inn. We had our 3 year old and the kids food was great. We sat beside the real fire and played with the dominos while we waited on the home cooked food. Lovely time had by all. Looking forward to our next visit.

Nice little village pub whilst trekking through the beautiful highlands. Very delicious Sunday roast, I preferred the pork over the beef..had more flavour and was more tender. (Not a full typical Sunday roast though; plate wasn’t as busy as I’m used to it with different meats and sides). But I enjoyed it nonetheless. The pudding though!! Don’t miss out on trying the homemade sticky toffee with ice cream. Plenty of games to play and entertain yourself whilst dining.
