The Jade Palace — Restaurant in Scotland

Never been in a Chinese restaurant like this and hopefully never will again. Toilets shocking Staff arrogant Eating hall shabby. They ripped me off as I was with my 6 year old on my own. He will not eat much. But on asking for half a duck to share. I said I will see if we are still hungry afterwards. A minute later I heard the dodgy Chinese man with a Glasgow accent say loud in the kitchen make it a small half a duck he thinks he is going after eating it, as he only has a small boy with him, Hay. Rather diaspointing. Curry sauce was like watery soup and too much of it! Plenty cubed chicken but a bit tastless except an over powering taste of mixed spices,gritty. The beef in black bean sauce was tasty enough although again swimming! Chop suey was also tasty but sloppy. Alot of the juices spilled over before we got the cartons out of the bag (messy)! Was all put together very quick, so fast service but maybe the microwave was used as said in pervious reviews? Just wow, few Chinese places get it just right, this is definitely 1 of them. I would be going there again on mt next trip to the Galloway. I am looking forward to seeing the friendly members of staff as well as the amazing food. I wanted to take more home but I ate so much I was full. Decent portions and excellent dessert menus as well.
