I have lived about five minutes walk from the Park bar for nearly ten years and passed by it on the bus every day. To look at from the outside I assumed it was just a run of the mill dingy old man pub and had no idea that they served food and welcomed children. In my opinion it should be made very clear that it does. Upon entering the bar I was surprised at how modern, bright and inviting the whole place is. Down at the seating area where the meals are served looks very nice with lovely decor and is spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely and table service is the norm here. My children and I all had lovely meals with not a spot left on anyone's plate. There was football on the TV when we were in but the bar was not too rowdy at all. I would recommend the Park Bar to anyone looking for a really tasty pub meal. I'm just sad I never knew of this place earlier or I'd have been lots of times as I plan on doing in the future. Great grub, beer and welcoming and helpful staff.

My Dad drank here Had my first official drink at the glorious age of 18 Still go when I choose to go out Warm friendly people and staff you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere the way a pub should be like an old friend.... Just took my son here sat in the same spot as I did with my dad... OK the decor is different and the clientele have changed... But the atmosphere is friendly the food has good feedback from people I know... Not tried it myself yet... But always been a warm friendly place to go like my favorite slippers 😂😂

First time here with my father and friends. I was in for the Scotland game, however the food and drinks were absolutely amazing however the lady in the polkas dress named Liz was absolutely horrendous. Bad attitude and it was small things that were letting her service down for example throwing the menus down to our table and was very ignorant towards my father when asking for a receipt. I then re asked for the receipt and this was no problem - as a young female who has worked in the food industry and retail for more than 7 years I know this is unacceptable. I collect my receipts and this shouldn’t have been questioned even though it was my father asking. I will be back but in hope that liz has a...

Fantastic meal, Massive portions ( first time in years I haven't managed to clear my plate) please dont think they subsistute quality over quantity. The haggis bon bons are fantastic, the park bar burger is banging, and the jalapeño nachos are well worth a try.

Great for a pint, too. Dogs are allowed in the bar area. Already booked my next meal.

Back again , I've had every burger on the menu. Can't find fault in any of them. They're all delicious.

I really must mention how great the staff are. Everyone is friendly, professional and welcoming. They really make you...
