Clydebank has so much history. The ship building, tenement life, the blitz, and more. The museum was interesting but slightly barren. It felt like it was more interested in the art gallery section. Saw a tiny bit on Singers, a token amount to John Brown, and not much more. It is a nice building and staff were good but not a place where you can spend much time.

I came out knowing nothing about Clydebank. The exhibit has a few paintings (mostly abstract school pieces) and 3 model ships only. Plenty of staff and lots of white walls. It's free which is good.

Modest collection, two of the galleries were very poorly lit, making viewing pictures difficult. OK for 1/2 an hour if you are there already or if you have an interest in sewing machines.

Absolutely appalled with this so called museum, the one staff member was very helpful, Outside it looks very impressive, inside it's a eccentric mix of nonsense, the cafe was shut ,and a total lack of local history,My father was the only man who rewelded and fixed the mercury statue, and who also worked in John Browns,So I have to ask were are they hiding all the history of Clydebank,in the Basement probably, why is the upper level shut, there is a total lack of heart in the place ,and a Jolomo Painting, why is he a old resident of Clydebank 🤔Please get your act together, and focus on what the...

We loved this museum and art gallery. The place is full of light and there's plenty of space to move around. It's small but thought- provoking and I'll take the time to learn more about Clydebank now that I've had such an interesting introduction. Lovely , welcoming, staff..who showed us round the rest of the building ( the old Town Hall, Police Court and swimming pool ) Great conversion . It's definitely ...
