Sixty Ate Bar and Kitchen — Restaurant in Scotland

Went in with my mother for a cocktail after a hard day and was greeted with horrible hostility from the main host (assuming the manager) I was asked my age and to present ID, which I happily handed over as even for 21yr old I understand I look young. This was accepted fine. The “manager” then asked my mum if she was “okay” as she had coughed, My mum replied saying “yeah just a wee cold, sorry” and the lady then continued to Question my mum in an extremely condescending way infront of other customers asking her if shes “really alright” and making faces. We were both extremely confused by the staffs reaction as we had repeatedly said we’re fine however she then stated that she wouldn’t serve us and gave no reasonable explanation to this. Neither of us had already been drinking and I had shown ID that was accepted. This isn’t the first time i’ve had issues with this particular member of staff in here and her attitude is appalling, because of this we won’t be back and we will be recommending to our close ones and relatives to do the same ! such a shame as I really enjoyed food and drinks in this establishment but this woman is a horrible example of customer service especially to...

First time here as was recommended by someone. Food was great with generous portions, even the kids meals were perfect as in some places they can be quite small so it’s hard to judge whether to order an 8 & 10 y/o the kids or adults food. They got 2 courses and they were only £7.50 each which for the quality of food was great so good if you have kids.

The bar and lounge are connected but the place is very big so we were sat in the far end lounge in a cracking and comfortable booth. The staff were great, quick and very attentive and even entered us into their prize draw as we went in on their 10th anniversary which was nice as we aren’t locals to the bar YET.

The place is very clean plays good music which was just the right volume when dining out so we will definitely be back and looking forward to our next visit to maybe try something different although my salt n chilli beef noodles was delicious.

Prices were good too for 4 people and 4 drinks, we were just over £50. Go to TGI’s for example and pay double for less quality...

Had Lunch in this bar restaurant for 2nd time as meeting friend and it's half way for both of us driving .Food was delicious and large servings , staff were very attentive and pleasant and the price was very reasonable . Menu has a wide selection to suit everyone and food was served quickly and was hot and plentiful. We have now made this our go to place .Lovely seating and family friendly too . Have nice outdoor seating too . Highly recommend this venue .

Have just had 3rd visit today and again exceptional service particularly Kieran lovely young man who made up so welcome and served our food and drinks with such enthusiasm .All staff including the young girl Who also served us brought drinks sorry didn't get her name but again lovely welcoming person So the food maybe great and the price very reasonable but it's the staff like Keiran and young lady who make the visit worthwhile My friend and I travel in opposite directions to meet there could go elsewhere but wouldn't .See next time...
