Absolutely awesome night out at a hidden gem. A wee cracker of a pub. Barmaid was spot on with orders, despite being rushed off her feet she was smiling and chatting away until the end. Landlady made everyone welcome, chatting to regulars and strangers like us alike, made to feel really welcome. Barry - the best guitarist you have never heard of - is a character and a half. Ays every month. Got to see him again.

Sign of a great night out: My head can't tell north from south, my mouth tastes like Gandhi's flip-flop, and I'm eating aspirin like smarties. And it's a schoolday today.... :)

Looking up to the pub as a young lad always admired the red house now moved back to my home town finally get a pint in the red house where my late parents drank , became a weekly habit staff and locals started to know me, went in at 10:30 old firm night not 1 drink in one waved to the locals then was met by the manager ,, her words leave regulars only,, no listen sorry guys not tonight just LEAVE I've not seen your face , as a personal licence holder and sia security trained and have ran clubs never in all my time have I met some1 so rude shame the manager really needs to read her cosy welcoming signs in the pub and take it in service...

Used the function room for a party, which was perfect! Could not be more accommodating for our needs and so helpful recommending and sorting a DJ for us. Brilliant service would...
