My wife and I popped in to the Tea Room, drawn in by the promise of a quick cup of tea before a rugby match, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be!

We were greeted by Catherine, who exuded genuine friendliness and hospitality. Her welcoming demeanour set the tone for our entire visit, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped through the door.

The atmosphere of the café was cosy and inviting, providing the perfect location for a relaxing pre-match treat. The menu offered a variety of options at very reasonable prices. It was refreshing to enjoy a cup of tea and some light snacks without breaking the bank.

What stood out during our visit was Catherine's engaging conversation and genuine interest in making our experience memorable. Her friendly demeanour and willingness to chat added an extra layer of warmth to our time spent at the Tea Room, making it feel like more than just a quick stop before the game.

Overall, our visit to the Tea Room was a lovely surprise, thanks in large part to Catherine's hospitality and the welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are looking for a quick bite or a leisurely cup of tea, The Tearoom is definitely worth a visit. We will certainly be returning next time we are in the area, and we highly recommend it. Grabbed a cup of tea here while waiting for a bus, and got a takeaway scone to have at home. I'm really fussy about scones - this one is extremely good 🤤 I'm not often in the area, but will go back just for the scones!! ☝🏻 Clean café too, and friendly staff 👍🏻☺️👌🏻 Very reasonable...
