Irresponsible and arrogant business owned by a people sharing the same values. Been kindly asked to install proper noise insulation in their premises before throwing those regular loud banging parties till early morning, as the noise pollution caused is unbearable and neighbors cannot simply sleep during a weekend. Guess what? They neither respond to the emails about the issues nor get into the conversation in oder to solve them. They simply don’t care about the community around them and thinks that their pub is somewhere in a middle of a dessert and their banging parties doesn't affect anyone. Hello? You're in a mixed (commercial and residential) area and there are loads of people living around that not necessarily want to get wasted and listen to your banging music every single weekend. Brilliant little place here, fairly small though for the size of the building but nevermind, beers cheap and they do a good little selection even had a roll back to the 90’s and had a bottle of miller lol! Friendly place, bar lasses nice and talkative, want to get to know you and how you are and the locals (I think) happy enough to acknowledge you and ask how you are. A right cosy wee pub with a blend of original features and new decoration. It has a few lines on draught including two ales on hand pumps that always has well conditioned ale on. I tend to find myself there in the new year when it's a bit quieter hence the three stars for atmosphere, I'm sure it's livelier throughout the year. Not had a meal here but did get a wee bowl of pretzels with my pint...
