Terrible customer service skills, I went In the other night for my partner to order some salt and chilli chips with curry sauce absolutely astounded to the price of £7.30. When I went to say to my partner the price, which was right after I had ordered, she asked if I could just cancel my order, which to my under standing would be rather simple given it was a card payment that was used to buy it he food. When I asked for refund literally 20 seconds after ordering food I was then questioned as to why I didn’t want the order anymore, then the food came out literally 30 seconds after ordering, which obviously made me think they must be using the microwave to heat food as it was out in less than a minute which I wasn’t too happy about. I then asked why they couldn’t just give me my money back and they started shouting at me saying we cannot do it as the boss is not in, and refused to phone the boss as it was his day off. When I suggested that the food was heated up in the microwave the woman behind the counter kept on shouting at me and then walked off with the card machine saying forget it, your not getting your money back. I then was dealing with a much nicer mannered person who couldn’t have been more apologetic and suggested a couple of resolutions but didn’t really help the only thing I could have done was take a bag of complimentary prawn crackers, which I was advised they normally charge £1.50 for.    Read moreI have used this restaurant on numerous occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed the food. I recently ordered a carry out and when it did not arrive I phoned and was told the driver had been, had waited outside for 10 minutes , and also phoned my house from outside. I told the restaurant this was absolute nonsense as my wife and I were both in, and neither the door bell had gone or the phone had rang. Tonight I again ordered a carry out and was told my address was barred, because no driver would come. I cannot believe that a restaurant would treat any customer like this - are drivers now deciding where to deliver to.This is a detached house, and there is no way we would not hear the door bell or the phone ringing. Customer service - this is an absolute joke. Why on earth would I wait for a home delivery, and call the restaurant when it didn’t arrive , if I was not in. it is totally unbelievable that a restaurant would act in this way, and clearly there is a lack of effective and efficient management. I could understand if. a delivery failed more than once but this……….what a joke. Good...

But tonight was the final straw and I stress that everyone should AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. My partner is celiac and orders a gluten free meal from here every week tonIght they sent the order and she noticed her dish looked different so we called the restaurant and the girl put the manager on who’s attitude was shocking saying their dish now contained gluten but thought she could eat it anyway... being highly celiac and eating gluten has really bad consequences and can result in my partner having to be hospitalised the manager clearly didn’t think this was an issue and just had a cheeky attitude , so disappointed will never use here again!
