Was in the dining area 3 weeks ago and the food was excellent and very reasonable priced. Five meals, four soft drinks and one IPA - cost was around £83; very reasonable these days. On Sunday, went to the bar to watch football. Place was empty, which was surprising, given it is a very clean and welcoming place. Got a taster before buying a beer, then had a few IPA - £5.50 a pint for the latter. Again; very reasonable given I paid £6.80 for same IPA in Edinburgh last week. Great service on both occasions and I will make a point of going back soon.

Brilliant local pub in Haddington. Great selection of beers on tap. Lovely, large beer garden out the back. Pizza's were delicious too. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Definitely a wee gem in East Lothian.

Was our first visit with the Italian menu and with C19 restrictions.

We were seated in the outside seating which was adequately sheltered and the weather was on our side.

Staff we're good, obviously having to work with a fast changing environment with c19 regulations, though stressful as this must be the Staff always acted friendly and professional.

Food was great, very decent portions. We each had different starters/main/desert, none of us had any need to complain, was a excellent meal.

Was a little bit of time between starter/main though Staff were acknowledging and apologising, we were given a wee freebie though it wasn't necessary it was appreciated.

Our table was booked for 2hrs (C19 restrictions) though we never felt rushed.

Was a enjoyable afternoon meal in nice surroundings.

Wouldn’t rate this eatery, staff unattentive, pasta carbonara swimming in oil with slimy fat in the place of bacon, the chef even somehow managed to curdle the eggs so it looked like I had scrambled egg in my pasta

Not one member of staff asked us how our food was after it was served, extortionate amount to pay for sub par food

The waitress even had the cheek to ask if we expected her to count the cash when we paid our bill…clearly not interested in her job in the slightest, it’s a shame as when mazzoli was on the high street it was great. At the Tyneside it’s dingy with staff who clearly don’t want to be there.

Overpriced for the experience,...

Not a great experience.

A very scant offering of whitebait on some unappetising stale bread, really needed seasoned An overpriced (steak?) burger, chips, and onion rings. The burger tasted like any other, I’d expect a steak burger to be much more tender and juicy, the chips and the onion rings appeared to be prepared out of a freezer bag, and at ~Ā£18 the dish was overpriced. Ice cream desert was quality, but did not redeem the previous courses.

Staff could be a little more attentive to the need for drinks.

I ended up spending about Ā£35 on food and drinks on an experience that I’d rate at ~Ā£20-25.

Overall the food was...
