Ate here as Peets restaurant next door was fully booked. Nothing else open at 7 pm on a Sunday. On entry, we were told that they will not be taking any food orders for the next 20mins. So we sat down and had drinks. Eventually, our order was taken, and food arrived shortly after. My burger was tiny, and in an old stale bun, it was not edible. My partner ordered the scampi, hoping for some local fresh seafood. Unfortunately, to her disappointment, it was frozen and processed. The prices they were charging I expected something half decent but unfortunately not. ÂŁ16.50 per meal for most items.

   Read moreWe went here after dinner at Peetâs restaurant to soak up the atmosphere, have a couple of bevvies and watch the footie (in which Scotland were sadly hammered by Germany). The bar is modern, light and airy with lots of space. Tables well placed around. Even though this is the place where the locals drink and meet, and we were speaking German we were made to feel welcome, contrary to what some other reviewers have reported. They have a good range of beers and also offer coffee etc. We did not eat there so can say nothing about the food. Would definitely consider dropping in there again on a future trip...
