2/11/25 First time in Bridge of Allen, and so happy we found this little gem. I stopped in with my daughter and one year old granddaughter. The service was impeccable! So kind and friendly. Very prompt service, we had a latte, hot chocolate with marshmallows and whip cream, a scone and shortbread cookie filled with jam. Buttery, soft shortbread than melted in your mouth, just enough jam to add an extra sweetness. The scone was tender and flaky. The hot chocolate was rich with a very generous topping of marshmallow and whip cream! The young woman who was working and served us that day was so friendly and so attentive to us. If we hadn’t been with a-year-old, we would’ve stayed longer just to soak up the ambience. We left with full tummies, and decided to work off the calories by walking back to Saint Ninians instead of taking the train. 😎 Since I am visiting in Stirling, I may have to make one more visit during my trip. Definitely in my top favorites places I have visited...

Go anywhere but here for a coffee!! I visited here on Sunday for a coffee and had such a disappointing experience. To begin with I asked for an iced latte and was told they weren't doing them. I find it hard to believe that the cafe had no ice cubes for sit in customer drinks etc but fair enough. So I opted for a cappuccino instead. I paid for my drink and walked down the street, I took a sip and the coffee was scalding hot and burned my mouth. Removed the lid to let it cool and as you can see from my picture my coffee was nothing like a cappuccino.

I don't like to post bad reviews but this experience honestly ruined my afternoon. The cafe likely does lovely food as the sit in customers all seemed to be having a good time but I think some barista training is needed for the staff. (probably over steamed and didn't bother to froth the milk as they were more interested in eating their chips they had behind the counter)

Atleast my Malteser...

I want to start by stating despite the low review the waitresses were very friendly and smiley. My only grievance would be they did not wipe my table down after clearing it for my food.

The food was basic, it was fairly hot but definitely not the best. Very plain and simple. I had the chicken box.

My main issue with this place is the layout and the seating. There are seats DIRECTLY outside the toilet, essentially blocking them or you need to awkwardly ask people to move unless you are slim. As a big guy this made me feel uncomfortable.

The seats are small and hard. Not very comfortable and every single seat feels like it’s fighting for its space in the cafe. All too close for comfort. It was also quite warm and could have done with an open window or a...

Simple and tasty There's nothing fancy at the wee timorous beastie, but it's all put together nicely, it's priced about right, just an overall good solid café. Ham and cheese toasties, 7/10, not really much to say about these, they were hammy, they were cheesy, they were toastie. The coleslaw was exceptionally creamy, and in a good way. Tomato pesto mozzarella toastie, 7/10, same as above really. I forgot to ask about the other things my friends ordered, but I imagine they were roughly the same quality. The food here did seem relatively consistent. Wait staff were lovely, welcomed us in and helped us with the menu. Service was prompt. Seating was a little cramped, but luckily we came when it wasn't busy. I've seen it get rammed on weekends though, so be warned.
