The Good Catch — Restaurant in Sefton

Honestly some of the worst fish and chips I have had for a long time. The chips were super greasy and a lot were raw and hard. The fish was crispy on top but totally soggy underneath. Service was ok to order, but when we collected the order and enquired about sauce we were told we had to pay for it and to rejoin the long queue with hot food in bag! Surely this could have been explained when we ordered as we don't come from that area and had not been there before or the person we asked could have just sorted it for us. The meal was honestly awful and I hate leaving a bad review but when we brought SEVEN meals for fifty quid we expected something that we could eat, sadly most of it went in the bin....

Terrible. Takeaway. Paid over £30 for 2 pieces of fish and a sausage plus 3 side sauces. Order arrived without chips. My mistake. But I would have thought the charge of over £9 each meal would include chips especially when asking if salt and vinegar is an option on the website, Maybe add DO YOU WANT CHIPS should be an option too? not as a side order. Staff extremely friendly, happy Food very good however visiting litherland good catch with my 89yr old aunt she lives almost opposite she gets a special fish chips peas for £6.50. Good catch crosby don't do this. Yet when questioning this at crosby was told different clientele (meaning crosby people can pay more !!! Not very fair special should be served at all shops. I buy for a disabled couple too each week in crosby pretty sure they would like a special fish chips...
