Xing's Kitchen — Restaurant in Sefton

I have given a star rating of 4 this time and that score is mostly due to there usual fantastic service and food, unfortunately this time (nye) the food was not up to our usual standards. Ordered special chow mien unfortunately there was nothing special about it, it was very bland more like plain noodles with ham and not a lot else, hot box was thrown together bbq sauce had made the chicken wings soggy. Chips where soggy with vinegar on (requested no vinigar) so felt like a waste of money and time as we drive a long way to buy from xings. I have still given a 4 star (it's usually a well deserved 5*) because I'm gathering the reason was being very busy on nye so didn't want to score less. Fingers crossed next time will be back to...

ordered a mixed grill, no sausage no bacon , no liver which is where the flavor comes from in a mixed grill even if you don't like liver its an essential ingredient, what we got was chips in onion gravy with a pork chop and a piece steak, the only positive thing was that it was delivered quickly, no surprise there as only half the ingredients of a mixed grill had...

If I was on death row, I would order salt and pepper chicken and chicken chow mein from Xings.

The portions are huge and the dishes are always consistent. The price is very reasonable and i got piping hot delivery.

I wish I had found this great takeaway years ago.
