Proper pub. Very well looked after pub by a hard working family. Only just started using this pub after living close by for 20 years and I am growing to love it in here. Good early bar. A pub that is bigger than you think , as the owners have invested in the rear outside area for summer months with separate bar outdoors which looks brilliant when lit. Also a small concert room where we had a football club race night which can be booked privately. Real ales, and competitively priced. It's clean and well run...recommended.

I went to a baby shower . It was in the backroom. The room was a good size. There is a stage and a bar so you don't have to go into the pub itself. I parked my car in the park and ride on the opposite side of the road to the pub. Had a good time. 👍

This pub is about a 100 yds from the tram stop down a one way system Street-- Built B 4 1860 because it was involved in the TRAGIC DAM 😢 burst high in the HILLS above SHEFFIELD???

Good clean pub with a great atmosphere especially at the weekend. Has a large function room on the ground floor with a pool table which is used daily unless it's been hired for a private party. It also has a well kept good size outdoor area with a tv that shows local matches on a Saturday afternoon a cocktail bar and a children's play area. The play area is fenced and gated which prevents toddlers escaping easily (parents are responsible for supervising their own children). The pub is on a main road at the start of the Rivelin valley and Loxley valley which offer some great walks following the rivers dotted with dams and the remnants of old mills that once worked the valleys and have now been reclaimed by nature. The various old mills on the Rivelin valley are marked with information posts or boards and more detailed information about both valleys can be found online including the Sheffield flood which swept down the Loxley valley and engulfed Malin Bridge including the Malin Bridge Inn. A two minute drive (or an easy walk) up Rivelin valley from the pub is a children's playground complete with paddling pool/water play area and cafe although the pub itself does serve meals at reasonable prices and is child friendly. Parking is on the...

Can't quite grasp how a waitress is going to give a customer a dirty look for ordering a hot chocolate at 8pm... Made it after pulling a face like i'd asked her to lick something off my shoe, then told me I won't be able to do that again if we get any busier.. (wasn't busy) Ok if you're extremely busy that's fine I guess and you can say so but there's no need to be an absoloute gremlin about it. If you can't handle a customer facing role especially one as simple as bartending then look elsewhere for more suitable work. If the owner wants to address this, it wasn't Harmony and it wasn't the young girl collecting glasses in black joggers. It was the other younger girl i'd describe as very dainty with dark hair.

Other staff were fine, (cocktail lady, red haired female at main bar and the...

Absolutely disrespectful, hypocritical and poor service! Attended a wake spending good money to be kicked out at 6 on the dot told under 16 year old not allowed, having a emotional day already to be forced out rearranging flowers etc all because she could lose her license, Yet has lock-ins after hours illegally which could lose her licence!

To hire a room for awake not saying anything thing about time restrictions when taking good money for hiring the room is a cheap move! Practice what you preach! Because when I see you’re pub ope after hours illegally I will return the same gratitude as you gave us, I’ll play cheap shots!

Avoid room functions from here!!!!

The landlady could do with a course of personality pills or maybe smile once in a while break the old...
