Order: Eggs Benedict and Iced Mocha Staff were friendly and helpful when I asked questions Food was delicious, arrived in good time. Drink was twice the size of what you'd get in other cafes (def good value for money) and was good, will have again another time. Entrance doesn't have a step which is a bonus for anyone with a wheelchair or buggy/pram Atmosphere was pleasant - even though it's right on the main road, once seated I felt in cosy little bubble of peace. Music was nice, not too loud so can't have conversation but loud enough to enjoy. Would definitely recommend 🙂

I'm not sure about the previous reviews because it didn't echo my experience. I asked for a strong black coffee and a cookie. This totalled £4.90. The coffee was weak and tasteless and the cookie dry. It was served on a platter with 2 splodges of fake cream and swirls...... its a biscuit for goodness sake and does not require such accompaniment or a knife and fork!! I had to leave both items as it wasn't great at all. Would not recommend. It does seem to have a loyal local community maybe that explains the 5 star ratings. Welcome not warm at all.

Me and my friend went here for lunch, and we are so glad we did. Firstly, the interior is adorable and very cosy. Secondly, the staff are amazing and extremely attentive to everything. Lastly, the food was divine. The portion for the price was beyond expectation, and the amount of bacon I got with my eggs bendedict was unexpected as cafes tend to be stingy with their portions. Also tried their rocky road. You can tell they make it fresh. Defiently coming back another day for their foccacia sandwiches.

Another case of overcharging here. My wife queried her bill and surprise, surprise they'd added a large hot drink and an incorrect drink onto her bill. When queried, the manager was fetched and she was treated like dirt. Change slammed down and told never to return. Also, my kids have a cheese allergy, no matter how many times you request NO cheese, they still send meals out with cheese! (Which of course, they charge extra for.) Another nice little extra to add onto the bill. This has happened several times in this place. So if you still fancy attending here, double check your bill and read other reviews about rude customer service. Plenty more cafes with service with a smile in Hillsborough and they can add up...

I asked if it was halal then said yes and started laughing, I asked if they had a certificate to verify and they said no, you’ll just have to trust us. The customer service was terrible, the workers kept laughing and clearly talking about me and my friend. We asked to take away our hot chocolate and she packed it for us, and I asked for whipped cream, the owner said we don’t give extra i gave you a little favour we charge 50p I told them how every other place gives it for free, they said it’s expensive and started laughing, horrible service. Regarding the wifi, we asked for the wifi he just told us the wifi and walked off, didn’t stay to help. Very rude .The 1 star for the...

If you want to get away from the hustle of Costa or the other chain coffee outlets, then I can recommend this place.

Friendly family run place, with nice coffee that is not too expensive. A good selection of hot and cold sandwiches, including breakfast, and a nice selection of cakes.

Didn't see any vegan options and I recall only twice there being a gluten free option of cakes. However I have not actually asked about any other options with regards to bread for sandwiches, so I don't want to comment on that too much.

It's a small place, so can get full quick, but everything is available for takeaway too.

Staff have always been friendly when we have been in, so...
