Unfortunately a steady 2 only review from us on our visit today the positive thing from today was the coffee and tea reasonable price and delicious coffee, On arrival told sit where you want so took a window seat for the 2 of us The breakfast menu looked intresting so I chose the Eggs Benedict and The other person a full English Let's start first with the full English 2 bacon ,sausage, eggs , hash brown, black pudding, Tom's, beans, toast As you'll see from the photo a huge plate arrived (you'll see the issue here) huge plate with food spread out spread out so much they cut the sausage length wise in half to try to spread the food around the plate to make it look fuller, The issue with the plates springs in to mind who designed the place when thinking the plates would fit onto the table for 2 đ€Ș So now the Eggs Benedict or should I call this the Eggs none Benedict if you can fried eggs and bacon on a none toasted muffin covered in alot of hollandaise sauce served with doritos and a salad that was so wet it had obviously been sat in a tub with water in and just placed straight onto the plate, I've never had such a strange Eggs Benedict ever, how on earth they can call it that well it's beyond me, So I'll leave it for you to decide trying to fit the plates onto the table, Fitting things weirdly onto a plate to either make the breakfast look bigger than it is Or a need for those extra large plates đ€Ł The Eggs none Benedict ought to be renamed for sure and maybe advise the chef that it's not safe to leave the side salad in pots of water let alone then putting them undrained onto the plate So all in all a thumbs down from us But we shall be back to see if anything improves or is learnt from...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Ayla's. The staff showed a complete lack of basic courtesy â they didn't greet or acknowledge us when we walked in, and their overall attitude was cold and unwelcoming. I asked if the food was halal, and was told no, so I said l'd check across the road instead. While I was away, they brought a cup of tea to the table without informing me or anyone with me, which felt strange and unnecessary. There was no communication or attempt to clarify anything. Overall, the poor service and attitude left a really bad impression. I won't be returning.
No2 response Thank you for your response. However, I want to clarify that my main concern was not about whether the food is halal it was the lack of basic courtesy and the unwelcoming attitude from your staff. From the moment we walked in, no one acknowledged us, and the service felt cold and dismissive. Bringing tea to the table without confirming an order or speaking to us directly added to the confusion and lack of communication. I understand that experiences can vary, but this one left a very poor impression. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as good customer service is about more than just answering questions it's about making people...
Read moreRecently came in for a cheeky lunch time treat, safe to say it was nothing of the sort. Straight off the bat you can tell the whole place is in disarray and cheaply put together, paired with the hectic atmosphere and sticky tables it is an experience you would rather forget! I wonât insult the servers, they were all nice enough, but the supposed âroyalâ burger I ordered came looking more measly and peasant-like than anything regal in any manner. The bun was stale and everything in it tasted processed and utterly vile, my plate was also grimy looking! It makes me dread what the cleanliness of the kitchen is like. And ontop of all this, some tall, lanky dark haired man with bulging eyes was eyeing me up at every verse end. Utterly disgusting and unprofessional. So Iâd only come here in the future if you want food poisoning or to be stared out by some gross man the entire time you desperately try to eat the âfoodâ you are served. Not worth it especially considering the other options...
