This branch was found guilty of human trafficking and slavery. The victims - who were all vulnerable, most having experienced homelessness or addiction - earned at least the legal minimum wage, but nearly all of their pay was stolen by the gang. While they lived on a few pounds a day in cramped accommodation - including a leaking shed and an unheated caravan - police discovered their work was funding luxury cars, gold jewellery and a property in the Czech Republic for the gang. On several occasions, victims escaped and fled home only to be tracked down and trafficked back to the UK. Victimsâ wages were paid into bank accounts in other peopleâs names.    Read moreOh dear where to start...I think everybody forgives McDonaldâs every now and then for the horrible mistakes they make when you order on the drive thru. Fair enough. But this particular store in Caxton (Cambridge) is completely appalling. I donât remember them ever getting my order right. Ever. Always missing a sauce (which they charge) or a wrong burger, cold fries, you name it they did it. In this last time, which made me write this review, they set a new record in incompetence. So, no sauces (payed for), re-heated chicken strips and a burger that was drier then the sand in Sahara, probably re-grilled 2/3 times (it was completely burned). Pretty much all the items were compromised. At least they got the water bottles right. The fantastic about this is that I was the only car in the drive-thru and the restaurant was closed, so there is no excuse. I should have find weird when they asked me to wait in between the two windows (between the payment and the collect windows) but I waited out of respect. They were re-heating all the food without me seeing it... In honesty I donât know how McDonaldâs hire people like that or what the store managers are doing. On that store I doubt I will ever set my feet again and I urge all people that go there to be very careful with the quality of the items and the respect for the HCCP protocol.    Read moreWent this evening, ordered new chicken burger meal, with coke and double cheese burger and Fanta, firstly if you ever want a milkshake never go here cause they never have them at all, pretty sure their milkshake machine has been out for over 3 months đ, 1st window was fine, 2nd window there was a blonde male manager and brunette young woman there, firstly gave my food so asked for drinks, she proceeds to ask for food back and then gives me the drinks which were correct but then wrong food, so obviously stated the food was wrong, then she took it back and said nothing no apology or anything, gave me my food correctly, and then slammed the window on me without saying anything whilst the manager just stood there, made me laugh as was just appalling but glad Iâm not on the other side of the window lol.
Either way got home and burgers were fine, for some reason got a large drink even though only ordered medium, but chips were hardly cooked and pretty cold compared to the burgers⌠the chips have been a regular issue, most times I go never order chips because they are rubbish but seems they donât even bother cooking them now lol
