Rusty Tractors Farm Cafe: A Hidden Gem for Breakfast Enthusiasts
Nestled in the heart of the countryside, Rusty Tractors Farm Cafe offers an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the essence of farm-to-table cuisine. My recent visit for breakfast left me utterly impressed and craving more.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the Full English Breakfast – a masterpiece crafted from locally sourced produce. Each bite of the succulent sausages, expertly butchered and bursting with flavor, was a testament to the cafe's commitment to quality. The thick-cut slices of bacon added a delightful smoky flavor, perfectly complementing the other components of the meal.
Moreover, the eggs, boasting rich, dark yolks, were a delight to the palate, while the hash brown achieved a perfect balance of crispiness and tenderness. Complementing the hearty fare were the fresh, juicy tomatoes still clinging to the vine, adding a burst of freshness to every bite.
It's evident that every ingredient at Rusty Tractors Farm Cafe is thoughtfully selected and expertly prepared, resulting in a breakfast experience that is unparalleled. And let's not forget about the piping hot serving – each dish arrived at the table with steam rising, promising a comforting and satisfying meal from the very first bite.
But what truly sets Rusty Tractors apart is its charm as a hidden gem. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this quaint cafe offers a tranquil escape where one can savor a delicious meal in serene surroundings. It's a place that feels like a well-kept secret, yet one that deserves to be shared with everyone.
In closing, I urge you to support your local farm shop by paying a visit to Rusty Tractors Farm Cafe. Not only will you indulge in one of the best breakfasts you've ever had, but you'll also contribute to the sustainability of local agriculture. Trust me, this is one dining experience you don't...
Read moreWe came in half term for a cream tea. Could see they were very busy and the gentleman explained it'd be about 15 to 20 minutes before our order. Not a problem as they were doing their best to see to everyone. We sat outside, lovely atmosphere with the young children enjoying the play area and the animals. Our drinks were brought out and we sat and waited for our cream teas. After 25 minutes I did speak to a member of staff. We had requested plain scones and she came to tell us they did not have any. She offered cheese or fruit. Somehow a cheese scone doesn't really go with jam and cream. I'm not really someone to make a criticism or fuss but I do wonder how long we would have been left sitting waiting if I had not spoken up. I didn't feel like that was a good customer service and whilst I really do appreciate they were busy, I had paid for 2 cream teas. The fruit scones were okay though not really what we had originally wanted. I guess like with anything communication is the key! Parking is not great either with limited space. We went back to our car to find we were blocked in and couldn't get out and only through the kindness of a family who'd just arrived and did pull forward for us so we could get out were we able to leave. So a disappointing visit for us personally but as I say, they were very busy and I guess it's hard to keep...
Read moreI have not been here for several years and I will not be rushing back. It lacks something? The inside seating doesn't work well, the atmosphere was zero, the staff performed their task to an acceptable level, but no more. No warm welcome. The food was mediocre, not well presented. The menu does not have a big range, so expect the usual breakfasts chips and burgers. The cakes and scones are worth a memtion as quite tasty, but the cafe does not warrant the high prices it is charging. There are far better eateries far cheaper than this cafè The place is grubby, with lots of areas needing a thorough clean. The floor was filthy and definitely in need of a good mop through. Outside area is a work In progress and when completed it will be a fantastic place for children to play whilst their parents or carers sit outside, as copious amounts of seating available, when dry. Oddly, you can no longer walk through to the Farm Shop, which was always good for a look and to pick up a few things...
