Plenty of seating inside and seating in a garden out the back. We ordered pizza and did not realise it came with chips making it quite a substantial meal. You can watch the rugby world cup inside. ( 2023) the staff were very pleasant. There is a ramp to aid wheelchair users at the entrance.

Stoke Gabriel is a fantastic place to spend some quality time. And to top off a great afternoon, a cold one in the beer garden of the castle inn. It's a real sun trap, not the biggest of gardens, intimate I guess, but a very pleasant place to while away an hour while enjoying a good beer.

Fab meal with a big group. Superbly organised and the food came out very promptly. The staff were lovely and friendly. We will definitely visit again and recommend to others. Thank you!

This was the worst experience for years. We were wet and hungry after camping and we're looking forward to a pub meal. At first we were told that they were full but then they said that they could accommodate us if we ordered quickly. The ordering process took ages and then the food took longer, not being able to hear ourselves think over the raucous drunk people swearing at the bar. The sausages that turned up were the lowest grade possible, something that made school dinner sausages look good... With them were overcooked chips and even the peas had been cooked to death. The pizza that arrived was the kind of thing a really bad cafeteria was serving up in the 80s; totally bland. There was so much tasteless sauce and cheese that it was more like a pie on an awful hard base. I normally finish everything on my plate, but even as hungry as we were I couldn't finish this. Nobody checked back on us during the meal and when I said that I want happy with the food the owner was so rude I was speechless... Muttering something about "what do you expect if you don't book". The other owner said "we don't care about reviews we do very well". I have never had such an appalling meal charged at such an inflated price served by such rude people in...

FABULOUS AND WELL RUN PUB! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Greeted by Bob the landlord who was polite informative and very funny....love the bling bling decor very nice. Modern stylish very clean pub....ladies toilets very clean with fresh flowers and a tray of toiletries to use I.e spray deodrant cotton buds etc and all free! Woop woop. We called into this pub again on Saturday night 4th June, we were greeted by lucas the barman who was very polite with a smile and a hello, very welcoming and he then proceeded to pour our drinks which he remembered from the night before..I love this! The landlady waved and came over to say hello which is really nice. Engaging with customers goes a long way and what can I say about Bob the landlord.... he is soooooo funny, welcoming, love his banter! This pub is a must to visit, dogs are welcome and spoilt with doggy treats... I can't speak more highly of this pub and we will definitely visit again for more brandy! Prices are very reasonable and very clean glassware and surroundings.... a nugget of a...

Took my partner and our dog (a springer) into the pub as it was advertised as dog friendly with other dogs at the bar. Bought a pint and sat down only to be told shortly afterwards that my dog couldn't sit with me on a chair (bizarre behaviour as other dog friendly bars actually expect this considering they welcome dogs) so I told my dog to sit on the floor. After another couple of minutes I was told to take him outside as he was sniffing other dogs (again, how is this dog friendly?) So we sat in the beer garden.

Absolutely astounded a "dog friendly pub" kicked us out for bringing a dog! Really false advertising and regretted buying a overpriced pint and supporting this rubbish. Absolutely not going again and would not recommend to other couples who want a quiet pint with their...
