Poor staff experience. Hit and miss with this one. Most the time you get great service if you are driving through, though sometimes the wait is long and tedious. Dining in, well, firstly the door is automatic and opens each time someone drives by the door which is inconvenient on cold days. The staff turn over seems really high here, rarely seeing the same person twice and as such you are lucky if you get greeted with “Hi” rather than “NAME”. Sagar served me today, he was obnoxiously loud and interrupted my order to (loudly) answer his drive through customer. When he asked me if I wanted any sauce with my food, I asked him if he had any spicy sauce. This was an odd request but previously I have been given sriracha in this Starbucks. Sagar laughed at my request and told me there was only ketchup. I felt this was quite patronising and I didn’t quite know what was funny. Read moreI am not a regular at Starbucks however, I went in and asked for soya latte. They were 3 people, and shop not busy at all. They took a bit long to get my drink. But no make an issue. The barista (a girl with a glasses) take my order. No smile, no good morning,no thank you. On top, my drink was extremely hot and I asked for some water to cool it down. She complaint with me, saying "next time tell we can make at the temperature"(I didn't asked for extra hot!!!).
She confronted me, I didn't like the attitude. What happened was: she was keep herself busy doing other things while she was warm the soya. She supposed to look after the drink she was preparing not tiding up the counter or arranging the lids for containers. Health and safety for Starbucks is possibly mandatory but they don't have any customer care service. People working there were merely robots no even talk each other. Read moreSunday 15th Jan. My wife stood waiting to be served with no-one else in the queue. She waited for over 5 mins without even being acknowledged by 2 people who were too busy focusing on the drive through customers. Appreciate they need to be served too but not to be spoken to for all of that time is not good service. By the time she was served there was a queue of people also waiting to be served. Our table was dirty and there was cups etc not being cleared from tables. One of our chairs even had paw prints on it. Whilst drinking our coffee a male employee ( manager?) could be heard saying that one of the reusable cups had gone missing from the display and had a female employee seen anything?
