El Greco — Restaurant in South Norfolk

We moved to Norfolk five and a half years ago and have used El Greco at least once a week since then and enjoyed their food. However tonight was a total disaster! My Wife ordered a medium chicken wrap with salad but no onion and chilli sauce, I ordered medium Dona kebab all salad and chilli sauce and I was told 15-20 mins, 35 mins later I was given our order. When we arrived home, (a five minute drive), and opened our bag of food we were very disappointed; the chicken wrap fell apart, the chicken was immensely over cooked and burnt and dry, there was onion in the salad and hardly any chilli sauce to be found. My Dona meat was also immensely over cooked and dry to the point that I couldn’t pick it up with a fork because it just crumbled, my pita bread was burnt on the underside and unpalatable and again the chilli sauce was almost undetectable. Our dogs didn’t seem to mind the flaws, but what expensive dog food! I don’t think we will...

Food generally very good. Very friendly staff, who do look after regular customers. Occasionally on busy nights, food arrives only just luke warm, which is a little disappointing. But the staff will fix it without question. Overall great food and service. Also unlike many other places, you do get good portion sizes for the price. If only other places realised good price, food, service and portion sizes make for higher sales and increased customer base, making a busier more profitable business. Update. After continuously arriving very late on almost every occasion, food is cooler than ever. Pizzas not even in an insulated bag, just loose on back seat of car. No wonder it is not hot. Issue is consistently happening now. We will never order again for delivery. We order to get hot food, not food that I have to turn the oven on and re cook/re heat. Used this outfit 3 times now over last 2 months, every single time there's been an issue. 1st time, pre ordered my food, arrived on time however they said they burnt it so needed to cook fresh. 2nd time, pre or food on their website, 3hrs later no food, call many times however no answer on phone, finally managed to get through only to be informed they don't use their website??? If you don't use your website take it down, anyhow food then arrived after 4hrs order was placed. Tonight 3rd time, pre order again, collected order, came home to find no salad or chilli sauce on my keebab after requesting salad and sauce.. Really poor service, really poor attention to detail, shocking takeaway establishment, reading reviews on hear its all the same.
