McDonald's — Restaurant in South Norfolk

TLDR; go to Longwater!

The food here is completely sub par compared to all other longer standing McDonald's in the area. They're doing something different here, the food is always dry and tastes bland in comparison.

Service is more often than not terrible here too.

While they were serving the Grand Big Mac recently I was given a regular Big Mac in a different box and when I complained I was gaslighted with them telling me it's an illusion because of the box size. So I drove to Longwater and bought one there to compare them, and yes; I had been given a regular Big Mac!

4/5 breakfasts we have ordered here were missing an entire meal and some of the sides.

The drive through makes no sense, you can pull up to the speaker and 3-4 cars will be served by the other speaker while you're ignored at the one you're waiting at, this happens all the time.

I give up, each time we have had issues we have complained. They have been open long enough now to have settled all teething and staffing issues but don't appear to care.

Ordered on line and went to collect items checked all items were there boxes ie burgers then arrived home to find that both mcplant burgers had no patty in them. I drove from Wymondham to McDonald's then back again only to return to complain. Service was absolutely disgusting. Person who served me did not understand what I was saying so showed her the mcplant burgers in boxes without patties again did not seem bothered and manager asked if I was ok and when I replied I was not and I was disappointed and disgusted and explained, nothing was said no apology or offer. All the young people working there appeared to not give a s..t about the customers at all. But to have two burgers prepared without patties is beyond a joke. Don’t usually bother leaving reviews for anything but after my recent visit was so annoyed with the service and food I received I felt I had to to avoid this happening to myself and others in future, several times I have stopped there on way home to grab a couple of double cheeseburgers to be driving down the A47 and realise they have given me a couple of single cheeseburgers instead 😡 so thought I’d check today and as many times before after ordering and paying for 2 double cheeseburgers had 2 single cheeseburgers in my order.
